Today Me And My Mom Is Moving In With Her Boyfriend Nate And His Son Adym. I've Never Seen Adym Before And Don't Ask Me Why It's Because Everytime His Dad Would Come Here, He Would Never Want To Go. But I Mean Who Cares I'm Not Much Of A People's Person Anyway. I Zipped Up My Last Suitcase And Box. I Grabbed My Stuff And Took Them Downstairs.
"You Happy To Be Moving In With Nate And Adym?" My Mom Said.
"Sure." I Said.
"Okay Well You Can Take Your Stuff To The Car And I'll Go Upstairs And Get The Rest Of My Things." She Said.
"Okay." I Said.
I Grabbed A Box And Walked Out The Door To The Van. As I Was Walking In I Tripped On Something. I Closed My Eyes Waiting To Feel The Impact Of My Body Hitting The Hard Concrete But It Never Came. I Opened My Eyes And Looked Into A Pair Of Beautiful Brown Eyes. It Was A Boy. He Smiled And At Me And Godly His Smile Was Perfect. He Lifted Me Back Up To My Feet And I Looked At His Outfit. He Was Wearing A Long Sleeve Red Plaid Shirt With Grey Sweats And Red And Grey Jordan's. I Looked Back At His Face And He Was Really Cute. I Noticed A Tattoo Of A Pineapple On The Side Of His Neck. That's Interesting But Cute At The Same Time.
"Hey." He Said.
"Hi." I Said.
"You Must Be Lexi, My Dad Told Me So Much About You." He Said.
"Wait Your Adym." I Said With Shock.
"Yep." He Said Smiling.
"Oh Hey Adym, What Are You Doing Here?" My Mom Said.
"I Thought You Guys Could Use Some Help." He Said.
"That's Very Sweet Of You." My Mom Said. "Well There's A Few More Boxes In The House That You Two Can Go Grab." She Said.
"Okay." Adym Said.
Me And Adym Went Back Into The House. As I Was Reaching To Grab Another Box I Ended Up Tripping Again And Adym Caught Me.
"Is It Just Me, Or Are You Normally This Clumsy?" He Asked.
"I'm Not Normally This Clumsy." I Said.
"So It Is Just Me." He Said Grinning.
"Don't Flatter Yourself." I Said Patting Him On His Chest Then Picking Up A Box.
I Went Outside And I Put The Boxes In The Van.
"Okay, I'm Gonna Go Drop These Off At The New House And I Will Be Back." My Mom Said.
"Okay." I Said.
My Mom Got Into The Truck And Drove Off.
"So What Are We Gonna Do Until She Comes Back?" He Asked.
"I Don't Know." I Said Sitting Down On The Porch.
He Sat Next To Me.
"Well Okay How About You Tell Me Something About You And Ill Tell You Something About Me." He Said.
"Okay, What Do You Want To Know?" I Asked.
"Everything." He Said.
"Okay Well You Know My Name And I'm 17 Years Old And An Senior In High School. I Play Volleyball, And Track. I Like To Draw And Sing And Make Music. My Favorite Color Is Black. When I Make Promises I Never Break That Promise And When I Say I Truly Love Someone I Actually Mean It." I Said.
"That's Deep." He Said.
"Well You Said Everything." I Said Smiling Most Likely Showing My Deep Dimples.
"Okay Well Its My Turn. You Already Know My Name And I'm 18 Years Old. I'm Also A Senior. I Rap And Make Music. I Play Basketball And Soccer. My Favorite Color Is Purple. I Tend To Believe That I Fall In Love To Easily." He Said.
"Maybe You Just Still Need To Find The Right One." I Said.
"Yea Maybe." He Said Smiling. "Well What Are We Going To Do Now?" He Asked.
"I Don't Know." I Said Brining My Legs Up To My Chest.
"You Wanna Go Eat Or Sumthin?" He Asked.
"Sure." I Said.
"Come On." He Said Reaching Out His Hand And I Took It.
I Took His Hand And We Got Into His Car And He Started Driving. I Looked Out The Window The Whole Time. We Pulled Up To The Driveway Of Five Guys. He Parked The Car And Looked At Me.
"Is This Fine." He Asked.
"Perfect." I Said Smiling.
"Okay Good." He Said Getting Out Of The Car.
I Got Out And We Went Inside. We Ordered Our Food And We Sat Down Waiting To Hear Our Names. After 10 Minutes Our Names Were Called. I Was About To Get Up But Adym Said That He'll Go Get It. He Came Back With Our Food. I Started Eating My Fries First.
"So How Does Life Seem So Far?" He Asked.
"Pretty Good I Guess." I Said.
"That's Good." He Said.
"So What Are Your Favorite Things To Do?" I Asked.
"I Like To Hang Out With My Friends And Make People Laugh And Be Happy. That's Why I Have A YouTube Channel And Its Where I Can Just Be Myself." He Said.
"Really." He Said.
"Yea. It's Actually Really Fun." He Said.
"Maybe I'll Have To Check It Out." I Said.
