I Wiped The Tears That Somehow Fell While I Was Writing The Song. I Placed My Book Back On My Side Table And I Opened My Door. I Decided To Go To The Field And Watch Adym Practice. I Walked Out The Door After Yelling My To My Mom Where I Was Going. I Walked To The School And Walked To The Field To Find Nate Sitting In The Bleachers. I Go And Sit By Him, And He Turns And Smiles At Me.
"Hey Lexi." He Greets, I Smile And Wave.
"Hey." I Replied, I Scan The Field Trying To Find The Black And Blond Haired Boy.
"What Number Is Adym?" I Asked, He Pointed To A Guy Running With A Football In His Hand And With Black Hair With Blond Streaks Sticking Out Of The Helmet.
"24." He Said, I Nodded And Smiled As I Watched Him Make A Touch Down.
"Hey Lexi, Would You Mind If I Left And Took Care Of Some Stuff." He Asked, I Shake My Head.
"No Go Ahead." I Said And He Smiles And Stands Up And Leaves.
I Return My Gaze Back On The Field To Find Adym Staring At Me, He Smiles At Me And I Grin, He Winks And The Coach Blew The Whistle Indicating That Practice Was Over. Adym Undoes His Helmet And Takes A Sip Of Water Shaking His Sweaty Hair. I Climbed Down The Bleachers And Meet Him When He Comes Over To The Bleachers.
"Hey." I Smile, He Smiles Back.
"Hey." He Replies And Pulls Me In For A Hug By Now The Rest Of The Team Has Gone To The Locker Room.
"Your All Sweaty." I Whine, He Laughs And Buries His Face In The Cook Of My Neck.
"You'll Live." He Replies, If Feels Good Being In His Arms, They're So Strong And Even When He Has Football Padding On, He's Still Comfortable.
