After Adym Left Me I Just Looked Back At The View With A Frown On My Face. I Brung My Legs To My Chest And Laid My Head On My Knees. Things Were Actually Difficult. I Couldn't Stay Outside Anymore So I Got Out Some Night Clothes And Set It On My Bed.

I Grabbed A Towel And Took A Long Shower. Once I Was Done I Got Out And Dried Myself Off And Wrapped The Towel Around My Body. I Walked Out The Bathroom And As Soon As I Out Adym Came Into My Room. Wow Wrong Timing. I Grabbed Onto My Towel Harder Not Wanting It To Fall.
"Hey Lexi I Just Wanted To Say I'm........" He Said But Then Stopped Talking Once He Saw Me And Turned His Head.
So At This Point Its Me And Adym In My Room. Me With No Clothes On But A Towel. This Isn't Awkward At All.
"I'll Just Go." He Said.
"I'll Just Call You Back In Once I'm Done." I Said.
I Quickly Put On My Bra And Underwear Then My Clothes. I Opened The Door And Adym Stood There. He Looked Up At Me And Our Eyes Locked. I Broke It By Walking Away Over To My Bed.
"What Did You Want To Talk About?" I Asked.
"I Just Wanted To Say I'm Sorry." He Said.
"You Don't Have To Say Sorry. I Understand Why You Walked Away. Maybe It Is Best If We Just Don't Get Close. It Might Be Best For The Feelings Or What Ever Connection We Have Or Had To Go Away." I Said Looking Away Not Wanting To Look At His Face And See The Expression He Had.
"Okay." He Said With His Voice Sounding Hurt And Disappointed.
I Looked Up And His Face Looked Sad. He Walked Out The Room. I Frowned And Flopped Back On My Bed. Things Just Can't Get Any Worse. I Got Under The Covers. I Turned Off The Light And Closed My Eyes And Fell Asleep. _______________________________________
I Got Up In The Morning Smelling Bacon. I Really Wanted To Get Up But I Just Couldn't. After A While I Just Decided To Get Up. I Walked Out And Adym Came Out His Room. He Looked At Me Then Walked Downstairs. Well Okay Then. I Went Downstairs And Everyone Was Sitting Down At The Table. I Sat As Far Away As Possible From Adym Seeing He Didn't Want To Talk To Me. I Practically Looked Down The Whole Time But I Could Feel His Eyes Starring At Me. My Lips Parted Slightly As I Took A Deep Breathe In.
"You Okay Honey?" My Mom Said.
"Yea I'm Fine." I Said.
"You Aren't Eating." She Said.
"Oh I Didn't Even Noticed You Set My Food Down." I Said.
I Looked Up And Adym Was Starring At Me And We Locked Eyes. I Have No Clue Why But My Eyes Started To Water.
"Sorry, I'm Just Not Hungry Right Now." I Said Pushing My Plate Forward And Getting Up Going Into My Room.
I Laid On My Bed And Actually Cried. I Didn't Even Know Why I Was Crying. We're Going To Be Step Siblings It Doesn't Make Since. I Quickly Whipped My Eyes And As I Was Done I Looked Up And Adym Was Standing By My Door.
"What Do You Want?" I Asked Whipping My Eyes.
"Why Are You Crying." He Asked.
"I Don't Even Know. It's Actually Nothing Anymore." I Said.
"Lexi." He Said.
I Looked At Him.
"You Mean So Much To Me. I Didn't Mean To Mess With Your Feelings Last Night. I Just Don't Want To Mess Things Up Between Us. I Want Things To Be Good." He Said.
"Yea I Know." I Said.
"Are We Okay?" He Asked.
"Yea It's Fine." I Said.
"Okay Good." He Said Smiling.
He Reached Out His Hands Indicating That He Wanted A Hug. I Smiled And Got Up And Hugged Him Laying My Head On His Chest. He Was Much Taller Then I Was. His Hands Were Gripped Around My Waist Tight And It Felt Good. I Slightly Smiled. We Slowly Broke Apart Looking Into Each Other Eyes.
"Never Leave." I Said Quietly.
"Wasn't Planning On It." He Said.
I Soon Realized We Were Hugging For A Really Long Time.
"Okay Not Helping." I Said Grinning.
"Yeah, Your Right." He Said Backing Up A Little. "I'll See You Later." He Said.
"Yea Okay." I Said.
I Walked Adym To The Door And He Left. I Really Wish He Wasn't Going To Be My Step Brother. _________________________________________
