I Woke Up And Noticed I Was Laying Down In The School Hallway. Adym Was By Me.
"What Happened?" I Said Holding My Head Cause It Hurt Like Hell.
"You Passed Out, That's What." He Said.
"I Did." I Said.
"Come On Let's Get You To The Hospital." He Said Picking Me Up Bridal Style.
I Still Felt Pretty Weak So I Just Laid My Head On His Chest. Of Course Kayla, Carly, Cameron And Jack Came Along Cause They Care. We All Got Into The Car And Adym Drove To The Hospital. He Ended Up Picking Me Up Again. We Went Inside And He Checked Me In And The Lady At The Front Desk Said That The Doctor Would Be With Us In A Moment. What Seemed Like Days The Doctor Called Us Back. Only Me And Adym Went Back. I Sat Down On The Edge Of The Bed.
"Okay, I'm Going To Take A Few Tests." The Doctor Explained And I Nodded In Response.
Adym Sat Down Next To Me In The Room.
The Doctor Did A Few Results Like Pee Test, Blood Yada Yada Yada.
"I Your Testes Came Back And I Think What We Have Here Is Narcolepsy." The Doctor Said.
"I Don't Even Know What That Is." I Said.
"Well Basically You Didn't Pass Out. You Just Fell Into A Deep Sleep, Which Is The Reason You Couldn't Move. I'm Going To Send A Specialist To See If You Actually Have It Or Not." He Said.
"Yea Okay Whatever." I Said.
He Then Excused Himself To Go Call My Mom And Adyms Dad.
"You Okay?" Adym Asked But I Shrugged And Looked Down At My Feet And Swaying Them.
He Got Up And Stood In Front Of Me. He Opened My Legs Up Placing His Body In Between Them.
"Everything Is Gonna Be Okay." He Said.
"How Do You Know That?" I Said.
"Because I'm Listening To My Heart." He Said.
I Wrapped My Arms Around His Neck And Laid Down On His Chest While He Ran His Hands Through My Hair.
"Your Mom Is Going To Be Here Soon And Everything Will Be Fine." He Whispered In My Ear.
We Soon Broke Apart And Adym Sat Back On The Chair. After A While My Mom Came In.
"Lexi Are You Okay?" She Asked Walking Into The Room.
I Nod And She Pulls Me Into A Bone Crushing Hug.
"Mom I'm Fine, Just Having Some Trouble Breathing, Considering Your Crushing Me." I Said.
"Sorry, Well I'm Gonna Go Back To The Waiting Room To Fill Out Some Papers." She Said And Walked Out.
We Stood There In Silence For A Moment. I Was Trying To Find Something To Say To Break The Silence But Nothing Came. I Couldn't Believe How Worried He Was About Me.
"Hey Adym." I Asked.
"Yea." He Said.
"Thank You." I Said Walking Up To Him Planting A Sweet Kiss On His Lips.
His Hands Went To My Waist And I Wrapped My Arms Around His Neck. We Pulled Apart Slowly Looking Into Each Other Eyes. We Then Jumped Apart Once My Mom Came Back In The Room. My Cheeks Were Red And So Was Adyms.
"Well Come On Kids, Let's Go Home, Oh And You Have Another Appointment Lexi With A Specialist Next Monday." Mom Said.
I Nodded And We All Left The Hospital. That Was So Close. Adym Was Such A Gentleman And You Cared About Me. I've Never Had Anyone Care About Me As Much As He Is Right Now. Maybe This Relationship Won't Be Bad At All. __________________________________________________________
