For my turn to come
But as time keeps turning
I'm losing my vision
Of who I am to be
Wishing I could see
The love you've given me

An unoccupied space, not to be filled

under the effulgent sun or midnight skies

Please don't ignore, what's in your mind
Just come on home, to being warm
And feel the love

Chase away your nightmares
Open up your mind
See all that can be kind
Even though no one else cares
Somehow you and I will be
In a better place than here
Come out and look out there
See what you can see!

I never want to see you
Broken and confused
But they way your thoughts have turned
Makes me think a little different
Than I used to think before
Because now I can see
What monster you can be
Please tell me how this
Will ever be resolved
