A long time ago, my little brother had a knack for inventing. He made me my record player have a built-in alarm system that wakes me up with whatever record I put on.
I remember him calling me Flower. He could never say Melany when he was little, and then it just stuck. Flower. A word I asked never to hear anymore.
It's the best gift I ever received. He even signed his initials on the bottom. KR.
I pull myself together, and grab whatever I think would go well with a really nice looking top that makes me feel confident.
Maybe I'll talk to him. My identity is for another day.
Maybe if this goes right everything will fall into place.
When I get to school, I get bombarded by my "friends."
Good thing I told them I was skipping because two towns over the founder of Starbucks was doing a signing for the day.
