Chapter eleven

I hummed as I tried on different earrings that went with my red dress. It was finally date night! It was a pretty warm out so I had on a dress that went down to my knees and some cute black wedge heels. I heard a knock on the door and my mom walked in.
Oh my gosh your first date!" She said putting her hand on her heart.
"Mom calm down I'm not going to the prom or anything," I smiled at her.
"I know but-"
"be home by 11," my dad said barging in.
"I know."
my dog came padding in. He looked up at me his big soulful eyes staring up at me. "oh my gosh get out of my room!" I said just as my cat walking in I picked her up
"She can stay but all of you out!"
I know what your probably thinking didn't you just get a lot of hair on your dress from picking up your cat? Yes, yes I did.

After getting all the hair off of my dress I made some last touches before the door bell rang. I widening my eyes and bolted out of the room
"nobody touch that!" I shouted running as fast as I could down the stairs with heels on.when I got to the bottom of the stairs I checked myself in the mirror one more time and smoothed down a curl. I opened the door to the most beautiful boy I had ever seen. "Alex," I said smiling warmly up at him.
He just stared at me looking me up and down eventually he said "wow, you look beautiful" he said I looked down and blushed. He took my hand and walked out. Me dad was in the bathroom so he couldn't stop us. When we got to his car he opened the door for me and I buckled as he walked around and got in. "So sushi sound good?"

After dinner we saw a romantic movie I kept having to wake up Alex, honestly it was the most interesting movie I had ever seen. It was about a girl that had to choose between a boy in another dimension or her best friend. When it was over though even my eye lids were drooping. Alex took my hand and pulled me up. After much debate whether the girl should have hooked up with the best friend or the guy in the other dimension we decided to agree to disagree when he pulled up to my house I didn't want to get out and so we just sat there holding each others hands and listening to each others breathing. As we looked at each other we leaned in closer until our lips were centimeters apart, but it felt like miles. He suddenly pulled away
"we should get out it's almost eleven," he said chuckling. I blinked my eyes a few times to get out of my daze. He got out and he put his arm around me as we walked to the door. When we got there he said a simple goodnight and kissed me on my forehead. When I got inside I went up to my room ignoring my parents questioning looks. I closed the door and slid down onto my butt. I closed my eyes and whispered "what the f%*#!"
