; i lost the little moon after i accidentally deleted my notes ;-;

i prefer the certainty of seperation

than the uncertainty of "almost"

i always thought my friends were weird, taehyung and namjoon never going outside much. jungkook always had this strange flask, jimin was so tiny and muscly. except hoseok and seokjin ofc. those boys were normal people.

can't really justify whats going, but lately i have been more aware of their actions and behaviour. then suddenly jungkook has a sister that i only found out last week, after our four year friendship.

#bffgoals.

"are you alright, hyung?" hoseok nudged me, "you've been sighing sadly for the past three blocks." i turned to hoseok, him having a worried expression on his tan face. sweat glistened on his skin, showing just how hot he was.

i shrugged, "nothing hobi. just wondering why i agreed to walking in this cold with you."

it was like -38 degrees today and i was literally freezing my fucking balls off. i hated winter. i feel like my nose will snap right off.

okay so i'm exaggerating, but only because i'm upset that i was dragged out of my nice warm sanctuary to walk for about 40 minutes because hoseok wanted to buy a chocolate bar. i lowkey wanted to come though, to stop at the ice cream shop. i don't give a fuck if its fucking winter. ice cream season is every season.

hoseok rolled his eyes, "i was afraid you would go crazy from cabin fever, plus jungkook texted me saying that they were hanging around town. i though that if we bumped into them, we could all hang."

i nodded absentmindedly, too focused on the park we were walking by. it was a pleasing sight, seeing the dull petrified trees give off a creepy yet beautiful vibe. snow sat on the branches, icicles sparkling in the sun. kids were out building snowmen, some
skating, some playing hockey. it would've been a great picture.

and i saw her.

leilani was walking towards us, but her eyes elsewhere. she wore a smile, looking absolutely breathtaking. i tried to look away, but i couldn't. she wore a burgundy beanie on top of her curled midnight black hair. a matching scarf was wrapped snugly around her neck. aside from that, the rest of her outfit was black, making her stand out.

i couldn't look away. she captivated me.

"yah hyung!" hoseok pushed me.

i stumbled to the side, almost slipping into the pile of snow siting on the side of the sidewalk, but i collected myself and angrily turned to hoseok. who looked at me like i was insane.

"what the hell?" i shouted, giving my best glare.

"you almost ran into a fucking pole because you were staring at kookies sister!" he deadpanned, "think i wouldn't notice. i've been talking for five minutes and you haven't heard a word i said!"

i ran a hand through my hair, cheeks turning red from embarrassment. "aish. i didn't think i was that obvious."

"it looked like you were about to drool. oh look! she's coming to us!"

"hey hoseok. yoongi."

"hey leilani, yoongi was just staring at you!"

"i know he was.

i was staring too."

;;;;

i need to get that moon back. but anyways, here you are. i hope this chapter was good.
