i'll never really understand the person that i was

or the person that i am

;;

i should've listened to hobi when he was telling me about jeonghan, rather than yelling at him and being all up in his bubble because he forgot his formalities.
jeonghan is such a dick. walking off with my girl. what am i saying. she isn't mine and i doubt she ever will be. she is out of my league.

"hey yoongi hyung. hoseok hyung, want to go eat somewhere?" jungkook shivered from the cold wind, his lips trembling and chapped from the harsh winter weather but he still managed to give us a bunny smile. we agreed, sauntering down the street to a new restaurant that he said he went to often but i was kind of wary. he explained this amazing new restaurant as if it has been there for ages, but i remember the old place was abandoned. after a huge massacre had happened their a few years back, they say a man went crazy and killed every man, woman, and child in the place.
i had came down this street and the place was a complete mess. the way it was left and now i hear this excited maknae speaking highly of a new restaurant? my stomach turned at my thoughts.

"ah here we are." jungkook grinned and the restaurant came into view. bright lights gleamed through the clear windows, people of many ages were inside conversing and laughing. waiters and waitresses were bustling around, meeting needs of many customers. this place used to be run down, cobwebs everywhere. a completely thick layer of dust used to cover every inch of the interior but it shown no sign of decay or neglect.

i frowned. my mind wracking through every bit of memory i had when the massacre happened. the walls were collapsed, had inhuman scratches lining the walls that still stood. now this place was brand new. looked as if it was untouched.

"wow this is amazing!" hoseok exclaimed loudly when we entered the restaurant. "the food smells delicious!"

i looked at him like he was crazy, did he not smell it? jungkook smiled at hoseok and eyed the buffet in the middle of the room.
"i smell steak."

my frown intensified, did they really not smell the blood? the smell was suffocating. the rich metallic taste invaded my mouth, the smell of blood mixing with dirt and mold. was i the only one noticing this? i looked around the restaurant but everyone look unbothered and normal. why was this only happening to me?

a waiter immediately tended to us, taking us to a corner booth in the restaurant and asked us what we would like to drink. he gave us a sickly sweet smile and i caught him eyeing hoseok whilst licking his lips.

"ooohh, you guys have wine?" hobi watched a lady take a bottle to the table next to us and told the waiter that he wanted a glass.

the waiter almost smirked and left us quickly.

jungkook and hoseok started talking, leaving me out of the conversation but at the moment, i didn't want to talk.

i was losing my mind, the smell of blood only grew. i started to sweat. i would say something to them but they wouldn't believe me. so i kept my thoughts to myself and listened to their conversation.

"and he asked me on a date." hoseok blushed, telling kookie of his phone call with taehyung.

"he hasn't asked you out yet? i thought you guys were already together."

"no, we act like a couple but he says he wants to take it slow and take me on at least four dates."

the maknae nodded and was going to reply but the waiter brought the bottle of wine to our table, along with some appetizers. the cliche breadsticks.

i thanked him quietly and he walked away, giving me a smirk. i thought maybe i was just hallucinating the smell so i poured myself a glass of the red wine and downed it in one shot.

"yah hyung, take it easy." hoseok scolded me.

i ignored him, harshly slamming the cup on the table and shut my eyes. it was like the smell and taste of the blood intensified immensely. the wine had a thick texture and i could still feel it slither down my throat, what the fuck kind of wine is that?

my stomach turned and i felt like i was gonna vomit.

"yoongi, are you okay?" jungkook asked, his voice full of worry.

"yeah, i'm okay. i'm just not feeling well." i opened my eyes to give the maknae and reassuring smile but all that turned go horror when i saw him smile at me. his mouth stained with blood and his canines sticking out. his facial expressions flickered from the worried maknae to a menacing jungkook covered in blood.

"what the fuck!" i yelled, watching the scene in front of me change. the waiter that was serving us had his mouth attached to hoseok, who seemed like he was on drugs. the breadstick shifted from bread to meat, blood covered the table. the people around us were either feeding from people or slicing into raw meat.

"yoongi, what is going on with you?" hoseok asked me, standing up from his position and grabbed my arm. the waited sat beside jungkook, his mouth had hobi's blood dripping down his neck.

"get away from me!" i screamed at hoseok. he frowned but smiled at me, showing his canines.

"yoongi, lets go somewhere." his eyes changed to a deep red and his grip on my arm tightened.

"y-yah! let go of me!" i kicked him and his grip loosened. i took that chance and got the hell out of the restaurant, not wanting anything to do with it.

i'm just crazy.
