5 dollars is classy
A dollar is trashy
A penny for your thoughts
2 cents for some sense.
You're a dime and a penny
Haha just kidding
You're not even a nickel
Barely even a penny
You have dirt on you
Hopefully people are smart enough
To brush you off
So they can see what you're really made of
Some trash
Can be considered a treasure,
But not you.
The scruff comes off
And they realize you're just a rock
With jagged, sharp edges.
Dangerous and ready to kill.
So I entered this one in a poetry contest and its going to be published in a book! I would've done a different one but it had to be 21 lines. I personally did not like how this poem turned out, but I still won the contest:) tell me what y'all think about it.
