It's just me
With my plain brown hair
That happens to always be straight
And won't change in any way

Wearing those sweat pants
And tshirts at school
With my white snow boots
You don't see the real me
Maybe it's because I don't want you to
I go home and write these things
The things that are on my mind
You people that are going all out
Trying to impress every last soul
With your fake hair and attitude
Guess what? I can see right through you
And it ain't you
Just be true and only be you
Cause nobody compares cause there's just one
It's just me
The one you pass in the halls
I'm not that tall
So you just see right over my head
Sometimes it feels as if I'm invisible
You trample me in the halls
Then you say "hey! Didn't see you there!"
And i think 'hey! Whatever!'
No matter what you say
No matter what you do
You can't tear me down
I'm here and I'm gonna stay
You think I don't see the things you do
You think you can get away with anything cause your unstoppable
You ain't no superman trying to save the world
Cause you're just you
Quit trying to be something you're not
Cause it's not you
