1- As Normal As Normal Can Be

It was just a normal Sunday.

Well as normal as normal could be for Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley.

They were sitting on Harry's bed in the boys dormitory and talking about OWLs.

Harry was certain that everyone in the DA (Dumbledore's Army) was going to get an Outstanding in Defence Against The Dark Arts.

He just wasn't sure about Potions for himself. After all, Snape was still angry at Harry for snooping about, as he called it, and looking at his worst memory.

As well as the fact that Harry was absolutely rubbish at Potions.

But the problem was that Harry needed to get an Outstanding in Potions. Otherwise he wouldn't be able to be an Auror and, for Harry anyway, it would be easy.

All he had to do would be to wait until the Death Eaters find him (you know, since Voldemort hated him and everything) and use Petrificus Totalus and bring them to Azkaban.

He had Potions the next day, along with Defence Against The Dark Arts, History Of Magic and Divination. Snape, Binns, Umbridge and Trelawney all in one day. That just meant a day full of bad luck.

Harry tried to make the day last as long as possible, but before he realised it, it was the next day.

First was Umbridge. As usual, when everyone got there, she said, "Wands away and books out. Start reading Chapter Six. I believe it is How To Stun and Counter Spell."

As she said wands away, there was no shuffle of movement, no one had bothered to bring their wands out. They were far too used to her (rubbish) rules by now.

However, when she speaking, Hermione put her hand up, obviously inquiring about something.

"Yes, Miss Granger?" she asked.

"I've finished that chapter, Professor."

"Oh, have you?"

"Yes. I've finished the entire book."

"If you truly have, then show me the correct way to stun someone. Use it on..." Umbridge looked around the room. Her beady eyes landed on Harry and she smirked. "Mr Potter."

Hermione mouthed sorry at Harry as she stood up, but he merely shook his head calmly. She had done this millions of times before in the DA. And he had gone up against Voldemort. He'd be fine.

If they managed to stun him in the DA, then they were certainly very powerful witches and wizards. Harry didn't know this, not many people did. Dumbledore had kept it quiet for unknown reasons.

"Okay. I can do this," Hermione prepared herself. "Stupefy!"

The spell hit Harry and, like when she usually did it, he was stunned, falling backwards without anything to stop his fall.

"I knew I had forgotten something," Hermione murmured, wincing when Harry's head got caught on one of the corners of a table behind him.

"Okay, okay, counter spell, counter spell," Hermione repeated to herself. "I have this. I've done this before. Yeah. I can totally do this. Okay, deep breath Hermione. Rennervate!"

Harry groaned as he sat up.

"That was definitely a good one, 'Mione," he said, moving his neck around. "Maybe I should have conjured up a cushion, or something."

"That would have been smart, yes," Hermione agreed. "You'd better go to the Hospital Wing."

"That I'll do," Harry grinned. He rubbed his head, groaned, and walked out of the classroom.

Okay, so for any new readers on here, or any readers reading again and questioning why this is different, I changed it! I was reading it over, trying to think of a plot for a new chapter, and I was cringing. So... here I am! Ha. Yeah, I'm onto the next chapters. That's all. Bye!!!
