As Harry came to, he found himself in the Hospital Wing (again), his arm wrapped up in bandages, a dull pain lingering there. Sat by the side of his bed was James, Sirius, Remus, Peter, Lily, Snape and Dumbledore.

When James saw that Harry was awake, he whooped in joy, then toned it down a little when he saw Harry clutch his head a little in pain. He hugged his 'brother', happy that he was back among the living. He had been in a coma for a week. James had sat by his bed every day, telling him what happened, what pranks he and Sirius had played, how annoying Remus was being about homework, that sort of thing. He knew that the first sense that people in coma's received was hearing. When he saw Harry awake again, he felt extremely happy, glad that his charge was alive. Glad that his charge was up - well, not up, but awake, at least.

Sirius grinned broadly when Harry awoke. After James hugged Harry, he did so as well, making sure not to hug too hard (a hard feat for someone who had missed somebody a lot) so that he wouldn't aggravate his injuries - and aggravate Madam Pomfrey. He sat with Harry every other day, knowing that James would want Harry to himself sometimes. He helped James tell Harry about the pranks; when they were about Snape, at least. Sometimes he told Harry about his day and (if James went to the toilet) how much everyone missed him, including himself. He told Harry every single time that he needed to come back soon, because even Snape missed him.

Remus found himself smiling happily when Harry opened his eyes. He went up to Harry, after James and Sirius had their turn with hugging him and gave him a massive hug. To say that Harry was surprised was an understatement. He always saw Remus as the one who thinks before he acts, but this Remus acted before he thought. And maybe it's good in a way. Not on my injuries though, Harry thought sleepily. Remus had missed Harry a lot when he was gone. He was surprised when he realised how different life was when Harry wasn't in it. There was no one to have to sympathise about James and Sirius and their live for pranks. No one to tell James and Sirius to do homework. That entire week had felt extremely weird for Remus. Extremely weird.

Peter shuffled uncomfortably. He knew that Harry didn't like him as much as the others (though he had no idea why), but he had felt that effects of how different it had been when he was gone as much as the others. There was no one to play friendly jokes on Sirius in the mornings (when he woke before Sirius, which was, to be frank, quite rare). It was rather funny, actually, when Peter tried to pull off 'Augumenti' [1] without Harry to help him perfect his spell. It was practice for him, Harry had said every morning, so that he could become extremely successful with the water charm. Who knows, he could even be a firefighter! Peter had missed Harry's funny jokes (that sometimes were directed toward him and sometimes directed towards others) [2].

Lily had felt, strangely, empty without Harry. She found that curious, as she hadn't spent much time with him before he got poisoned. But there was no one to complain that James and Sirius's pranks were way to harsh, other than her friend, Alice. And, honestly, she didn't really understand her like Harry.

Snape remembered that night clearly when he had brought Harry to the Hospital Wing. He felt that he should do something for Harry, as Harry had killed the Basilisk, therefore saving him. Snape had a flashback of that night. He had honestly felt terrified when he saw Harry with blood trickling down his arm.

Harry jumped up and stabbed the Basilisk right in its most delicate place. It's tender skin in the mouth. Snape opened his mouth in surprise, how had Harry done that? He was just a two year old...

Harry felt a searing pain in his arm and knew that it had happened again. He staggered around, pulling the fang out of his arm and putting it in a bag he had brought with him, a poison protective one. He then conceded to the blackness, gratefully giving in, hoping to get rid of the pain in his arm.

When Snape saw that Harry had fallen unconscious, alarm bells had immediately rung in his head. He quickly checked Harry's pulse, feeling slightly scared when it was very faint. Without further ado, he ran and ran towards the pipe that led to Moaning Myrtle's bathroom. He realised that he was stuck down in the Chamber of Secrets, there were no stairs or anything like that leading up the pipe. Luckily, Fawkes appeared. Snape whispered, hoping that Harry wouldn't hear this, "Th - thank you, Fawkes."

Fawkes nodded his head, then drooped his tail down so that Snape could grab it. Snape did so, making sure to keep a firm hold on the young boy. He didn't know why he was taking care if Harry like this, but he supposed that he felt that he should help Harry as Harry practically saved his life.

As Snape was thinking, Fawkes had already brought him to Myrtle's bathroom. The fire bird cried on Harry's arm, 'Phoenix tears have special healing properties,' Snape remembered. The hole in Harry's arm fixed itself, leaving a massive scar in his arm. It was right where his old one was.

Snape held Harry in his arms and quickly ran to the Hospital Wing, yelling for Madam Pomfrey. She came rushing into the room, saw Harry, demanded a story, lay Harry down on the bed and forced Snape to sit on one, making a deal that he would only have to stay there for a couple of days.

As Snape was thinking, Madam Pomfrey quietly said to Harry, "He saved you, you know. Any later and you would never have woken up."

Harry smiled gratefully at Snape, who glared back. Harry sighed, knowing that the 'war' against him and Snape would never end.

Well, another chapter done. No, it's NOT going to be a friendship between Snape and Harry. Snape isn't my favourite character, because even though he told Harry to save the world from Voldemort, yadayadayda, he still hated Harry for SIX years. Well, now that that rants over, see you in the next chapter!

[1]: I think I spelt that right?
[2]: I've always felt bad for Peter. Everyone hates that guy! Admittedly, there is a MASSIVE reason for them to hate him. I've always thought that he was forced to be bad by Voldemort and once he got the Dark Mark, he had to help Voldemort. I don't know exactly why I don't hate him. It's weird, but it's true.
