"Here we go..."

The music began and my father smiled at me before taking the first step. We entered the great hall and hundreds of Alphas and Lunas from across the world looked at us.

"Chin up my girl, we have a long walk and it's nothing to be ashamed of" he said while looking strongly ahead.

As I turned to look straight ahead a girl caught my eye. I recognised her but couldn't remember her name. Then it clicked! It was Samantha! She sure looked different as an omega.

Her head was shaven and she wore a plain creme dress. As an omega, all personal belongings were taken from her so she gets left with work clothes. They are generally plain old pants and a plain top. Although they must give them a tidy dress for occasions.

Samantha gives me a kind smile before bowing her head as a sign of respect. I smile back at her, happy to see she is okay, before facing the front again with a determined look on my face. If she can still smile after being treated as an omega, I can live as a cover up to this man.

We made it to the end and I kissed my fathers cheek. We went through all the vows and I went through the extra Luna queen vows before we moved to the ball room for the reception.

Xavier and I made it look as though we were a happy couple while people congratulated us but really we refused all unnecessary contact.

When everything was over we left on our honeymoon. It would only be 2 days but I was grateful for any time away from the castle and all Xaviers sluts.

We arrived in Fiji and he looked at me like he was nervous about my reaction to something.

"Bula" a kind looking man said.

"Bula" we both replied.

"Um there is something you may not like." He said. I looked at him blankly and gave him a signal to continue.

"We have to sleep in the same bed..." he said quietly. "And consummate the marriage" he ended even quieter.

I just stared at him.

"It's tradition for the first born to be made on the first night of marriage" he tried reasoning.

I turned my back and started crying as I walked to the room we would stay in. I walked straight in the door and straight through to the bathroom, where I cleaned myself up and looked in the mirror.

"One stupid idea. I just had to decide to meet the king. Why couldn't you have been normal and agreed to leave. Stupid stupid stupid" I cried some more before looking in the mirror determinedly.

When I had cleaned myself up for the second time I lay on the bed beside Xavier and faced away from him.

"So do you wanna go on top or me?" He asked like it was normal.

"You complete idiot" I state as I turn to face him. "You think I'm going to actually sleep with you? No way. This may be tradition but I only refused to leave my pack normally so I could break your traditions. I may have forgotten my goal at the start, but this is me remembering. We will not have sex. Not until we love each other. Which won't start while you still have sluts spread across the castle. So lose your ego and treat me like your mate if you still want a mate."

I turned back over and pulled the duvet over my shoulder. I didn't look back because I knew it was better to go straight to sleep.
