As I wandered through the halls on my way to the ballroom, where the wedding reception would be held, I ran into a young girl. She looked up at me with green moss coloured eyes.

"You're the Luna aren't you?" She giggled up at me. I nodded slowly entranced by this girl for some reason.

"I better be off now!" She yells as she runs down the hallway, her arms out like she is flying.

I turned slowly before continuing on my way to the castle ballroom. In there, I met Alice, the Betas mate and Sasha, who would be my stylist. They argued over different colours for my makeup and which dress and the fit and colour of everything. All I wanted was to be back in bed.

When the meeting was over they had finally decided to do my makeup with the wedding colours. Gold for wealth, red for royalty. It took too long in my opinion but at least we were done with my makeup and dress. I decided to take a walk through the gardens to escape all the ladies of the court.

Unfortunately, there I ran into a strange woman who didn't seem to like me.

"He doesn't really love you, you know. He just wants you to give him pups. You'll be yesterday's news soon" she spoke as she acted like she didn't care.

"I'm sure you only say that because you are already yesterday's news." I said and turned and left before I got into trouble.

I turn the corner and smack into a large chest. I look up to see the king.

"So that is how you deal with people?" He looked down on me.

"Your majesty-"

"Xavier. My name is Xavier dear mate." He interrupted.

"King Xavier-" he gave me a sharp look, "this is how I deal with people who are desperate for drama. I know the rumors and I understand that I am the only one in this relationship to have saved myself for the one I was meant to be with. If that is all, good day."

He let me walk away as he stood there in shock. Shocked that I had spoken to him that way? Or shocked that i had not properly excused myself. I did not care that I had not given him proper respect. By sleeping with others, he had not given me proper respect.

I had wasted loyalty on a man who did not and would not ever deserve it.
