I woke up to my phone buzzing. Its was just a twitter notification. I look at the time and it was only 9:30. This is why I love weekends, I can sleep in. Plus I could already smell mother cooking something downstairs. I got up and looked in the mirror and my hair was a mess so I just put it up in a messy bun.

I headed downstairs, and went into the kitchen when I ran into somebody. I thought it was my dad by how muscular the person was. I was wrong when I looked up at the person to yell at them when I saw that it was Jake. I screamed and jumped back hitting my head on the door.

"Hey, its just me. I didn't mean to scare you." Jake laughed out clutching his gut like it was the funniest thing.

"Well you did." I snapped. "Why are you even over here?" before he had time to answer me my mom walked in.

"Jen, be nice." Mother snapped. "I invited him over so that you could take him around town and show him where everything is, it will be nice for you to get out too."

With that my mother gave a hug to Jake and left saying have a nice day you two. When she left the room, I grabbed myself a plate and some pancakes. I grabbed a fork and the syrup and started to eat my pancakes. Jake just looked at me, I motioned for him that he could sit down. He did and pulled out his phone. I finished eating my pancakes cleaned off my plate and turned around. Jake was already looking at me, eager to get going.

"Well I guess I'll get cleaned up, and we can be on our way." I said walking towards the door. "You can watch some tv in the living room if you want." I told him before walking out and heading upstairs.

I got into my room, pulled out some underwear, a bra, some red skinny jeans, and my British flag tank-top. I headed into my own bathroom, and took a quick shower. I got out, dried off and put my clothes on. I dried my hair, then straighten it. Looking into the mirror one last time then left my bathroom. I put my shoes on and grabbed my phone and headed down stairs.

When I got downstairs Jake was on the couch watching Awkward. One of the greatest shows ever. I coughed to get his attention. He looked a little caught off guard by the look on his face, but quicky put a smile on his face and stood up.

"Ready to go?" I asked already knowing the answer but asking anyways.

"Yeah, I am." He said walking to the door. He opened the door but instead of walking out, he let me go first. All I could really think is 'what a gentlemen'. We got to my car and started it up. I took him down town where all the little shops were at.

I went down the main strip, and told him were you could find the best pizza, or cupcake. Where all the old people went on Saturday morning. Where the best doughnuts were. I showed him the town skating rink, and all the fast food restaurants were and the Wal-Mart. I don't really know, I thought he might need to know. I personally go to Wal-Mart a lot. Last but not least I showed him some parks that were around. But the last spot we stopped at were the local stables. I actually needed to do some chores here today. I parked the car and got out. Jake also got out.

"I have to do some work here for a while, but after I'm done we can head home." I said walking into the barn. I was greeted by the manger. She told me she was headed out and was glad I'm here to help. After she told me that they are getting a new horse and get a stall ready she left. I told Jake follow me or just wonder around. He deiced to stay with me as he followed me into a tack room.

I have my own little locker where I keep my boots, and a change of clothes. I wasn't riding today so I just slipped off my tank-top and put a shirt on, and changed into my boots. I went and cleaned all the stalls, watered, and feed all the horses. I got to an empting stall, put bedding in it, and a bucket of water. While I was doing my chores I told Jake about all the horses. I don't know if he actually was interested but he acted like it. Around 2 in the afternoon I heard a trailer pull in. It must be the new horse.
