Everybody needs somebody

Chapter 8.

Jakes POV 

I woke to the front door opening. I guess my parents are home. I wonder if my mom will cook me some breakfast this morning. Thats when it hit me. 

"Dude wake up. My parents are home." I whisper shouted, while shaking Jen awake. 

"What what what what." Jen said falling of my bed. She popped her head up from the floor, while her hair went everywhere. I couldn't help but laugh a little. She looked cute. Stop you dont like her. 

"What do we do. How am I going to leave? shit." Jen said getting and sitting on my bed again. 

"I'll just get my parents in their room and try and get them to start unpacking or whatever then, I'll come get you and we'll run to the door and bam! your free." I said  I get up from my bed and head to my door when I hear a giggle. I turn around and Jeniffer is still on my bed but giggling. 

"What?" I ask looking at her. 

"Umm well first your in your boxers." She said before she bust up laughing all I could do was blush, I found some sweatpants before she could say anything else. I hurried out the door and almost run into my mom.

"Hi honey, I didn't think you'll be awake right now." She said as she walked into her bedroom.

"Wheres dad?" I asked. 

"He's in the bathroom, he wanted to take a shower because he didn't have time before we left this morning." She said as she gave me a hug. I hugged her back and grabbed her sutecase and throw it on her bed. 

"Well you got up early this morning I bet you just want to unpack and take a morning nap. I'll make breakfast just unpack." I said as I shut her door and went to get Jen. 

I walked into my room to see Jen asleep on my bed. Man when this girl wants to sleep she will sleep. I walk over to her and shake her awake. 

"Jennifer wake you'r ass up." I whispered shouted. 

"What what I'm up. God didn't have to be rude." She said as she stretched out. I couldn't help to look at how cute she was, and how my shirt and sweats looked on her. 

"Hurry up my mom is probably almost done unpacking." I said as I gave her a hand up and lead her out into the hallway and down the stairs. Once we got to the door I heard my mother coming down the hallway. 

"What do we do?" I asked panicing all she did was open the door and stand on the other side just as my mom was coming down the stairs. 

"Jake whos at the door?" She asked. All I could do was look at Jennifer because this was her plan. 

"Just me Miss. Walker my parents wanted me to come over and ask how your trip went." She said so smoothly. I liked how she could make all this up on the spot. 

"Oh, darling it went great. Here come on in, its cold outside and Jake said he would make breakfast for us." She said as she pulled Jennifer inside and developed her into a hug.

"Okay, text me when you get home. Wanna know if you get there safely." I said as Jennifer was finally leaveing my house. All she could do was laugh. 

"Oh my Jake. Just watch me watch home if you're really that scared." She said once she could catch her breath. "If anything just wish me goodluck with my parents. I don't think they'll be to happy with me when I get there." 

After that we said goodbye and she walked home. I did watch her walk home and just saying she looks good in sweatpants. Once she was in her house I walked back up into my room and was about to fall asleep when my phone went off. I had a text. 

It was from Jennifer. 

"As you saw I got home fine, and I got to my room without my parents stopping me." 

"If things get bad you know you can always call me."  

I texted her back hopefully her parents won't start anything with her.

Jennifers POV 

Once I got to my house I walked up to my room without anyone knowing I'm here, but thats a normal here. I got to my room and sent a quick text to Jake, seconds later I got one back. I got some clothes and took a quick shower. 

When I got out I brushed my hair and braided it. I plugged my headphones in and put my music on shuffle. I just wanted to get away but the only way I could is just take a nap.

I woke up to my little sister coming in and jumping on me. I was really tired all I could do was push her away and pull my blanket tighter around me. 

"Wake up sleepy head, theres someone at the door looking for you and mom and dad aren't here." She said as she ripped my blanket off. 

"Tell whoever it is to go away because I'm sleeping." I said as I wrestled my blanket back. 

"Come on sissy its just Jake he said he had to give you something important." She whinned.

"Well if its just Jake just tell him to come up here." I said. All I could hear is her loud footsteps going down the hallway and stairs, then I heard the door shut. 

A minute later I heard my door open, then a low chuckle, I could hear the smirk on his lips. 

"So do you always sleep or do I just imagine it?"  He asked as he shut my door and sat on my bed. 

"No, I just sleep a lot. So my sister said you had something improtant to give me or something." I said as I turned over to my other side so I was facing him. 

"Yeah, well I couldn't excaly tell her I came over to give you back your dress you left at my house." He laughed "I mean I could have but she might have told your parents." 

"Ha, like my parents would care, but anyways thanks for bring this over." I yawned as I sat up and throw my dress in the closet. 

"Well since we have school tomorrow I think you should go home, plus I'm tired." I said 

"You just woke up from a nap." He laughed. 

"That doesn't mean anything I'm still tired." I whinned 

"Fine, I'm leaveing. I'll see you tomorrow at school. Goodnight Jen." He said as he walked out of my room and shut my door. 

"Goodnight Jakey" I yelled. I found my phone and plugged it into the charger. Seconds later I was in a deep sleep.
