"Marissa!,"

"Sarah," Marissa walked towards her friend with a smile plastered on her face.

"Its rare. You're early", Sarah asked. Marissa smiled.

"People change", said Marissa as she winked at Sarah.

"I just hope it'll last",

"It will", Marissa said confidently.

"Hey", a sudden voice sounded from behind them. Marissa turned around to look at Lisa.

And her gorgeous dress.

"Oh my god! That's the most awesome dress I've ever seen!", Sarah shrieked.

Lisa twirled. Her purple dress look really good on her.

"Thank you", said Lisa with a bright smile.

"You seem happy," Marissa stated as they walked towards their locker.

"Harry and I were back together', Lisa said with a sheepish smile.

Marissa and Sarah eyed each other.

Excpected.

"He apologised?", Marissa asked knowingly.

"Yesterday, He was very cool", said Lisa. Her eyes was dreamy.

Both of them ignored her.

"So, home okay?", Sarah asked concernly. Marissa spared her a glance.

"It's fine, I guess",

"Good then", said Sarah sincerely.

I smiled.

Well, mom's happy. That's good enough.

"I'll go first okay? Bye", said Marissa as she waved at Sarah.

"Bye",

Marissa walked to her class. Though her mind was thinking of other things; money mostly.

She has work after school. A waitress. The payment was okay. But it's not enough. She sighed. Her eyes was empty and she doesnt realize a bag in front of her until she tripped.

Her books flew.

And she fell hard on the floor.

"What the hell?", she said angrily.

A boy picked up her stuff.

"Hey, sorry. You tripped on my bag," the boy said nonchanantly at her. He gave out his hand to grab her up.

She raised her head. What a stupid answer. He left his bag in the middle of the corridor?

"That's very logic", she said sarcastically as she grab the guy's hand.

He looked at her. She looked at him.

Riley

He let go of her hand.

And she fell again.

It hurts.

Marissa was laying on the floor now. She opened her eyes to see Riley staring at her. His eyes show disbelief.

She stared hard at him. Okay, so that Riley is the almighty Riley Walker. Everyone knows him, of course. Who doesnt.

Me.

I know him. I just doesnt recognize him. Right?

Marissa stood up herself. Her butt still sore.

"I dont know you school here", he spoke.

Marissa glanced at him. He's so tall.

"I'm not that famous", she spoke coldly as the bell rang.

....

It's Marissa. That messy auburn hair, emerald eyes, no doubt it's her.

"I don't know you school here", I said the obvious.

"I'm not that famous", she said coldly as the bell rang.

Then she left.

Again.

"Who's her?",Mia asked from behind me.

"Just someone", I answered shortly. She then touched my chest.

"Liar. Your heartbeat explains everything", said Mia.

I stared at her. I like her but she's a friend and no more than that.

Marissa is different.

"Really?",I asked jokingly. Mia stayed silent.

"Just go to your class", said Mia.

"Okay Princess", I said sarcastically as I walked towards my class.

It's chemistry. I'm okay with that.

"Hi, Mr Gavin",

"Oh, Mr. Walker. Hi," he said awkwardly as he move his glasses upward.

I rarely show my interest in school that's why. Though today is exceptional. I'm happy.

I noticed a girl with auburn hair. Again her back was on me.

How could I never noticed her before. Am I that ignorant?

Maybe.

I pulled the chair beside her. She glanced at me.

Her eyes got wide. Later on, she tried real hard to be indifferent about it.

"Hi, Marissa. Nice to see you again", with nonchalance. Though just god knows how fast my heart was beating.
Maybe if you really love, even 2 metres gap is enough to make your heart beat like roller coaster. Maybe.

"Hi",

"Can I .. like be friends with you", better to be straight to the point.

"In case you forgot me, I'm Riley",

"I know", she said slowly.

"You like me", she spoke coldly.

She's a smart one.

I smiled widely. I moved closer to her.

"You're smart", I whispered in her ear. She shivered.

"So the topic today is electrochemistry", it's Mr. Gavin. She became as cold as stone as she focused.

No emotion at all.

Or she's likely scared. I smirked. Maybe.

Okay, so 4th part is done. Thank you for reading. Well, what do you think? Is it not interesting? Or very fast? Feel free to tell me anything. K? ☺☺
