The Goblin-Korean Drama

Ep 15

This episode begins with a mysterious scene. As Eun Tak walks across a bridge in Canada, a man walks across and says in English, and I quote, "Oh, you again." 

Eun Tak replies with

"I'll say."

She is confused as to why she suddenly said that and runs after the man, only to see him suddenly disappear into thin air. Baffled, Eun Tak continues to search for the man but instead comes across a lady who speaks up.

 "Lady, it's good to see you here."

Eun Tak, clearly yet again confused, questions.

"Do you know me?"

"No, but that necklace you're wearing..."

Eun Tak consciously touches her necklace, which I believe, is the necklace that the Goblin has given to her. Remember that the Goblin envisioned Eun Tak's future (when she is 30 years old, which is technically the present in episode 15), sitting in the same restaurant that the Goblin and Eun Tak visited twice at the beginning of the movie with a necklace on. And so, because the Goblin assumes that the man that Eun Tak sits with at the restaurant isn't him, he jealously buys the necklace, which is the same necklace that Eun Tak was eyeing at her first time at Canada, for her.

Back to the story...

The woman tells Eun Tak that she is the one who made the necklace. To be more specific, a man, which is the Goblin, asked her to design it 10 years ago. She also said that the necklace meant "A Match Made In Heaven" in French. She continues to ask if they are happily leaving together. However, Eun Tak was unable to give an answer.

Meanwhile, the Goblin feels empty on the inside and travels to several countries, that is, except for Canada, which is where Eun Tak is. Then, the Goblin finally decides to 'travel', more like teleport, to Canada. The Goblin and Eun Tak 'happens' to stumble across each other. Eun Tak is suspicious while the Goblin is claiming to be 'researching about furniture'. However, Eun Tak seems to not believe him and asks if he is following her. Their conversation continues as the atmosphere becomes a little more intense. Finally, they simply decide to find food to eat.

However, the conversation goes into an untouched territory. The goblin carelessly reveals that he knows Eun Tak more than he should, and Eun Tak's suspicion rises. Eun Tak (Caution, this part is cheesy and embarrassing for Eun Tak...lol..) claims that the Goblin has dug up Eun Tak's information in order to see if they are compatible for dating. 

Um, talk about awkward?

Anyway, they simply brush off that conversation, and the Goblin decides to lead the way. He talks about his first love, which is secretly, not so secretly, Eun Tak. As the Goblin talks, Eun Tak seemingly gets more and more jealous of this mysterious first love. 

After a while, Eun Tak just couldn't hold her curiosity anymore. She asks the Goblin if they have met before, 10 years to be exact. The Goblin asks,

"Do you like me?"

Eun Tak answers,

"Yes."

** Author's comment: Are you serious? You've literally met him (as far as your memory goes) a few days ago!! You don't know who he is, how old he is, etc. How can you do this???!!! C'mon lady, get a grip, please.

Excuse me, going on with the story...

Next off, they go out to eat dinner. And this is the part where the Goblin realizes that the envision of the future 10 years ago was correct, and he ended up being the man who Eun Tak sees. Ahhh, and he just can't stop smiling!! :)
