Jericho's phone clattered to the pavement and a less-than-manly shriek escaped his lips as AJ appeared out of nowhere right in front of him.

It took AJ almost a full minute to stop laughing and catch his breath. Once he had somewhat composed himself, he snatched Jericho's phone out of the danger of careless feet and said, "Sorry. Didn't mean to make you wet your pants." His laugh returned, and Jericho couldn't help but chuckle a little too once his heart had stopped its hammering.

"What the hell, man? Where did you even come from?" Jericho asked, inspecting his cell phone for cracks or scratches, of which there were now many.

AJ grinned mischievously and leaned in like he was going to tell Jericho a secret. "You see, I'm actually..." he began, looking around at the oblivious passersby with fake suspicion. "I'm Spider-Man."

As the words processed, Jericho's facial expression changed from one of rapt interest to amused annoyance. He shoved AJ playfully away and started walking. AJ, guffawing like he had just made the funniest joke in the world, followed after Jericho, repeating, "I got you, I got you," in a childish singsong voice.

Swinging a friendly arm around Jericho's shoulders and ruffling the other boy's curly hair, AJ said, "Let's go get some ice cream. I could really use some right about now."
