Erith's POV

"I'm so glad that you could come over for the weekend, we have SO much to do." Adrian smiled at me, walking beside me on the sidewalk, his hands in his pockets as a chilly autumn breeze swept past us. I shivered, but ignored most of it.

"Yeah... Me too..." I shyly replied, my fingers automatically starting to fidget with each other. My fingers had turned numb a while ago, showing a bit of a dark pink colour. It's not the first time, I'll be fine...

Mommy always says I will at least. And mommy is always right about everything...

"Erith? Are you sure you don't want my gloves? I have an extra pair, and you look like you're freezing." Adrian frowned softly at me, looking worried. Fuck! No don't look at me like that, baby! I quickly shook my head, giving him a reassuring smile.

"Nah, I'm ok! We aren't even that far from your house, right? I'll be able to last. Don't worry!" I laughed softly. I could see Adrian open his mouth, but then close it after a moment when he had nothing to say.

"Well, we're here." He said, pulling open his door and stepping inside, keeping the door open for me. I glanced at his house number, that read 654. Huh, so THIS is where he lives.

Interesting.

I stepped inside, closing the door behind me and locking it. Adrian was already in the kitchen, moving things around and preparing something.

He didn't say anything about what we're going to be doing... And I've also never been at anyone's house before, so that's even more nerve-racking...

Just don't mess it up.

"Wanna watch a movie?" Adrian called to me, which made me flinch in surprise. Oh, almost forgot he was there... I hesitated, looking at the tv that was in the living room, right next to where I was standing.

"Um... Sure..." I replied, finally taking off my shoes and hoodie, hanging it up and putting my shoes on the rack. I then followed him to where he was in the kitchen. He was making popcorn, which I could figure out as soon as I stepped through the archway. The buttery scent hit my nose and my mouth began to water.

The only time I get to have popcorn is at the movie theatre, but the last time I went was when I was 13... I think? It's been a really long time. Momma doesn't like to waste money on 'pointless' things she always tells me...

The microwave beeped and he pulled it out, putting it into a bowl as he smiled at me. "Want to help me pick out a movie then? What are you into?"

What do you mean by that?

I just shrugged, hoping I didn't sound like an idiot in front of him. He laughed softly and handed me the bowl as he led me back to the living room, grabbing the remote and turning the tv to Netflix. He then jumped up on the couch and closed the curtains, making the room dark.

Please tell me we aren't 'Netflix and chilling'!! I wasn't prepared for this!! Momma please come pick me up, I want to go home!!

He smiled at me again and I could feel myself relax a bit, handing him the bowl back. We scrolled through Netflix, looking at every category of movies and looking at the stupid but funny ones.

"What about this one?" Adrian asked, stopping on an anime. Now THAT peaked my interest. Anime was my favourite! I could never pass up an opportunity to watch it!!

"Oh oh! Click on that one!! Have you seen it?? It's so good!!" I exclaimed in excitement, pointing at an anime called 'Her Lie In April,' which was my favourite in the entire world.

He laughed softly and agreed with me, clicking on it and turning it to episode one. It wasn't a long anime, only one season that was about 20 episodes, each one about twenty to twenty-four minutes long.

We sat back for a while and happily munched on the popcorn, before the anime ended and we both ended up in tears. Eventually that turned into playing 'video-games' such as COD Ghosts and an interesting game called 'Rainbow Six Siege.'

Both were really fun, but I completely SUCKED at video games and I couldn't even get a good grip on the Xbox controller. Why are there so many buttons?! Ughhhhh lost again...

Eventually, it turned to watching more movies, then working on a bit of our project so we weren't TOO far behind.

Eventually, it just became too late and we just decided to crash in Adrian's room. His bed was big, fluffy with a dark blue blanket and soft white pillows. The walls of his room were a light baby blue, with shelves and pictures and posters scattered all over his walls on each side. There was also a desk, and a tv and a laptop!

Geez... He's rich!

It then came... To sleeping.

"You can have my bed, I'll sleep on the floor." Adrian said, getting another small setup ready on the floor as he laid down. My eyes widened,

"Wh- n-no! You can have the bed!! I don't care!! The floor helps with my uh... bad shoulder problems anyways!" I blurted out quickly, which made a long, uncomfortable silence fill the air.

After everything was settled and Adrian was fast asleep in his bed, I watched him from the floor. So precious... He's so beautiful...

And I crawled up into his bed as well, cuddling with him as I slowly drifted off to sleep as well.
