MY TWO BEST FRIENDS #SAM AND COLBY

Chapter one

It was my first day of big school and I was very scared. I was holding my mommy's hand tight as I wore my black shorts and blue shirt. Mommy brought me into the classroom and the teacher stood at the front of the class asking the parents to leave. " I have to go sweetheart" my mom said, " No mommy I don't want you to go" I cried " You'll be fine Emilia".

The teacher walked over and took my hand, " Come on Emilia your tables over here" she said as she walked me to a table and sat me down. " Hi" the blonde boy next to me said, " Hi" I said back. " My name's Sam" " My name is Emilia", " That's a nice name" " Thank you". " Do you want to be friends" Sam asked smiling at me " Yes" I smiled back and we held hands. That was the first time I met Sam Golbach and we've been best friends ever since.

We grew up together, we'd do everything together even sleep overs, even in middle school we were inseparable but then I moved back to Ireland and had to say goodbye to Sam. It was the worst day of my life, I remember us both crying as we hugged each other goodbye. We only had each other but now we were both alone.

I hated living in Ireland, yes I'm Irish and I wanted to grow up in Ireland but not after I met Sam. Ireland was so cold, dull and boring and I hated it but I had to put up with it. Around my fourth year in secondary school an app called vine came out, I didn't bother with it until one day my best friend Allie showed me " two dorks, you have to check them out" so I did, and it was none other than Sam and his new best friend.

I was so happy that he had made a friend and could be his weird self around him, and even make these stupid funny vines. During the summer I was sitting in my room when my mom and dad came in. " Honey" dad said walking in the room, " We have some bad news" " What?" I asked worried. " We're moving back to Kansas, I got a better job there and we're leaving tomorrow" " Oh okay, I'll go say goodbye to my friends" I said standing up.

" Are you okay?" He asked, " I'm fine dad, I'm not a little kid anymore I know it's for a job and it's important I don't mind". I went to my best friend Allie's house and told her the bad need, " What?! You can't leave!" " I have to Allie" " But we're best friends how am I meant to manage without you". " Allie your the best friend anyone could ask for, you'll be fine" I said hugging her goodbye.

The next morning we got up early, finished packing and were soon on a plane to the US of A. It took a good month to get the house sorted and by then it was time for school, " only two years left" I whispered to myself as my mom got in the car. " Oh sweetheart, I know your scared but you'll be fine" " Thanks mom". My mom dropped me off and I walked into the office and got my time table, classes and locker, I got a tour of the school yesterday so I knew where everything was.

I walked into my first class and sat down at the back of the class at the window. The teacher walked in and smiled " It's great to see everyone back after the summer vacation and I know everyone is tired but will put in a lot of work this year, I'm excited to announce we have a new student here today, she came all the way from Ireland, please make her feel welcome. Emilia why don't you introduce yourself" she smiled at me, which caused everyone to turn and look at me.

I stood up and smiled, " Hi everyone, I'm Emilia, I'm seventeen and I'm from Ireland". " You may sit down now" the teacher said so I did, the teacher talked on and on about maths so I just payed attention and did my work, which I did throughout the day. " One more class" I said to myself as I walked into my English class and sat down at the back of the class, again I had to introduce myself but instead after class the cheerleaders came up to me.

" Hi, Emilia right?" " Yeah" I said. " I'm Amber and this is Blake, and we were wondering if you would like to try out for the cheer squad" she smiled. " Really?" I asked, " Yeah, your so cute,  you have the look, so what do you say?" " Yeah, sure that would be great" I smiled. " Great, come with us" Amber smiled linking my arm and bringing me into the football field.
