I woke up with the fever that Kellin had, and I felt terrible. Worse than Chuck-Norris-roundhouse-kicked-me bad, it was more like excruciating pain bad. I hated being sick, I looked terrible, I felt terrible, and even worse, I had just gotten a new job. I knew there was no way I could even consider going to Ivan's today, even though it was my second day of work, I called in sick.

The boss understood, he heard my voice cracking, and he could tell that I wasn't lying. I had no reason to lie, I needed the money, and if I didn't really want to come in, I wouldn't lie about being sick, I'd quit.
Kellin still didn't feel good, and he laid next to me with his face towards the wall. He was burning up too, and I was just hoping that he'd feel better soon. As of right now, we were both getting behind in school, and no money was coming in because I wasn't at work. Great.
" Baby... " I shook Kellin just enough to wake him up.
" Hmm.. ? "
" I'm really sorry to wake you, but I can't go to work today, I'm burning up. "
" It's okay, get some rest babe. "
" I will. "
Me and Kellin both laid down trying our best to feel better. Kellin fell back asleep really quickly, it was shocking really. It's like he hit the bed and it hit him back. It took me a little while to fall asleep, but I did.
I laid on a concrete floor with glass cutting into my body, and a strange man came over to me and kicked me in the side.
" Tell me why you did it! " he continued to kick me.
I ignored him, trying to play dead, but every time he would kick me a little noise came out of me. I wanted to beg for my life, in hopes he wouldn't kill me. But I never begged for my life. Maybe something would save me. Guardian Angels? Mitch Lucker as an angel ? Anything ?
When he finally stopped kicking me, he picked me up by my hair and threw me against the wall.
" Why'd you leave me!? " he was screaming.
" I didn- " he interrupted my sentence with a punch in the gut.
He kept beating me, and the glass kept going deeper and deeper into my skin. Each time I would try to pull it out, he would slam me even harder on the wall.
" Stop! " I screamed with him.
He threw me down on the floor, and I heard a snap. Nothing hurt for a second or two, until it finally hit me. He had broken my ankle. I knew there was no way I could escape now, I had to either give him what he wanted or die.
I remembered Kellin telling me that he'd always protect me, but right now I was just wondering how well he meant that. I was hoping this guy would have sympathy and stop trying to hurt me, or kill me. Whatever he was trying to do. My whole body hurt. I felt glass carving into my chest, and back, my legs, everywhere.
Blood was all over me, honestly, I looked like something that had just walked out of a horror movie. My hair was a mess, and my makeup was running. All I could think was, ' somebody please, help me.'
I knew wherever we were, nobody would hear my cries or screams, and nobody would try to save me. I was left here, to die, and I probably would. I wondered if Kellin even realized I was gone.
It didn't matter, I could see myself dying, I could see my entire world just crashing down on me, and everything falling apart. I couldn't afford to think like that, I needed to know that I was okay. I knew it deep down, and that this guy didn't phase me, especially since he was too much of a coward to let me see his face.
Thoughts were racing through my mind of ways to get out, but the other half of the get-out escape idea, was that I had no idea where I was. I could be anywhere, and even if I did hurt him enough to get away, I wouldn't know how to get home, or to police, or anywhere safe.
He walked out of the room, and I couldn't see. The lights were off. My white tank top was soaked with blood, and my jeans were too. My arms were cut up from the glass on the floor, and everything was cold. I couldn't really tell how bad I was bleeding, but I knew that I needed to find out.
I checked my back pocket, and my phone was there, yes. I took my phone out, and I unlocked it, and my screen was cracked terribly bad. My hands were shaking, and I was trying to just hold my hands steady so that I wouldn't drop it. That didn't work well.
I dropped my phone, and cracked it even more. I unlocked it again, and saw that I had no phone signal. But then I remembered that I could still call 911 without cellphone reception.
I dialed the numbers slowly to make sure that they were right, since I didn't have my glasses on. Nine. One. One. I pressed the green call button, and I heard my phone ringing.
" Nine-one-one, what's your emergency? "
" Please! Help me! I don't know where I am! Ma'am please! "
" What's your name dear? "
" Olivia Harlequin! Please hurry! "
" Please stay with m- " her voice cut out.
I was screaming and pleading for her to talk to me, and I took my phone away from my ear, and saw that my phone was dead. I threw my phone across the room, and I heard it hit the wall and then the floor. I knew it was broken now, and there was probably no way I could ever get it to work again.
The police never came. There were no sirens, no helicopters, no nothing. I laid in the darkness crying, and finally I had to, I was begging for my life. Just hoping he'd feel bad and let me go, but I should've known he wouldn't. The door opened, and he walked over to me.
" You b- "
I woke up from my nightmare and jumped into Kellin.
" What's wrong? " it obviously woke Kellin up.
" Nightmare.. "
"It's okay, it's just a dream. "
" Hold me. "
" Okay. " he held me tightly.
" Kellin, your arms feel like home. "
