Chapter 8: The Killer IS Among Us

"Hey, are you okay, Nagisa-kun?" Karma asked the bluenette who was slumping against the tree, his knees pulled up to his chest.

"H-huh? Oh... Uh... Yeah." Nagisa said, forcing a smile. They were all outside together with Karasuma-sensei for their P.E. everyone were all trying to hit Karasuma-sensei with their rubber knives and Nagisa felt like taking a break. There was something he had been thinking and worried about.

"Hm... Still bothered by it, huh?" Karma guessed, "About Yada-san and Muramatsu-kun being killed?"

"Y-yeah... I just can't believe they're now gone." Nagisa mumbled.

"Well, I can't really blame you. I guess the rest still feels the same too." Karma said, leaning his back on the tree as well, his hands on his pocket. As he watched the others do their training and Okajima tripped and fell, face first when he failed to hit Karasuma-sensei. Karma grinned and mumbled, "What a moron."

"Hey, Karma-kun..." Nagisa trailed off. Karma just hummed in response.

"Uh... Do you think its possible that the killer is—" Nagisa was abruptly cut off when he heard a loud scream inside the classroom.

"What was that?!" Nagisa asked, immediately standing up.

"Th-that sounded like Kataoka-san." Okuda said.

   Without any further hesitations, Karasuma-sensei and the rest of the students ran to the classroom to where Kataoka was. Karasuma-sensei opened the door and saw the girl fall backwards, on her rear end, trembling involuntarily. She was visibly scared.

"Kataoka-san, what's wrong?" Karasuma-sensei ran to the girl, helping her up, she lifted her arm up and pointed to the direction of the blackboard.

   Everyone froze in surprise, eyes wide open.

"H-Hara-san..." Kanzaki mumbled.

"What happened? I heard Kataoka-san screaming and—" Bitch-sensei suddenly stopped at what he saw.

   Sumire Hara was hanging on the ceiling in front of the classroom she was completely unclothed and... Dead. Her eyes were wide open. There are barbed wires on her legs and arms that was connected on the ceilings. There are also barbed wires around her bare body. She looked like a puppet hanging on the ceiling. And because of her weight, the really sharp and long spikes of the barb wire were already pierced through her flesh. But what caught everyone's attention was the katana stabbed through her heart. She was probably killed by it then she was hung up. Her blood was already making a huge lake underneath her.

"Hara-san..." Kayano whispered.

"The... The killer strikes again..." Isogai mumbled as he stared at the body in horror.

"K-Koro-sensei..." Nagisa turned to their teacher, who was sweatdropping. He looked so nervous. Nagisa has never seen their teacher like this before; he looked frozen and he didn't know what to do.

   Class that day was ended, Hara's body was already removed from being hung. The once happy faces of the 3-E class was now replaced with scared and terrified faces. Everyone were all scared for their lives. No one knows what's gonna happen next, who's gonna be killed next. And most of all, they were terrified cause they have no idea who's killing them.
