Visiting the Past

As the months go by, Jacob and Elena go on a trail ride. While that happens, one of Elena's old friends desided to come and visit her. Elena and Jacob get back to find a young man with a horse trailer in their drive way. " OMG! RAMBO!?!?! how are you!?!" Elena says as she jumps off of Blue and jumps into Rocky's (Rambo)arms for a hug. "Well, I came to see if you and your friends can take me in??" "Sure! You know that me and Mayella will always take you in.!" Elena walks Rocky to Jacob to introduce them to each other. "Howdy! I'm Jacob, I'm her boyfriend." "Hello, I'm Rocky, I'm her bestest friend. 😎😁". As it turns out, Jacob already knew Rocky from a Roping competition. Rocky and his horse Tigger won the round. Jacob came in second. As the day goes on Rocky and Elena gets caught up on both of their lives. As they talk, Jacob starts to grill Elenas favorite food. Pork Ribs. 😋. "Food is done! Come and get it!" Jacob yelled through the house to everyone. "I'm so hungry I can eat a whole cow... Lol!" Rocky said. Mayella walks in the kitchen to find Elena and Rocky sitting at the table. " OMG!!! RAMBO!!! When did you get here!?! How long you staying!?!" "Geez, always a lot of questions! I got here this morning. I'm staying for how ever y'all can put up with me. 😁😁😎." Rocky says while looking at her hand and notices her new ring. "When you getting married?" "How did you know, and I'm getting married: June 2 of this year." "Your hand??" "Oh, I feel so dumb... Lol" Jacob sets Elena plate on the table for her. Everyone else got their own plate and started to eat.

"So your obviously still into rodeo!" Elena states to Rocky. "Yeah and actually I came here to get some help." He replies. "What would you need help with?" Mayella asked confused. "Well I got a new horse and he's just not everything I wanted so I was wondering if you and Elena could work with him, and a little with me." "Of course we will!" Elena and Mayella yelled at once. "OK great! I'm so glad you guys are willing to help!"

The next morning everyone got dressed for the day and started working. Rocky pulled out Shadow, the new horse he needs help with, Elena pulled out Wild Star, and Jacob rode Wild Child. Mayella and Kyle went out to pick up a couple of horses.

Rocky and Elena started working in the ring while Jacob went up on the ridge to check the property.

Mayella and Kyle got to the stable, which was pretty much their neighbors, and greeted the young men who opened the gate for them. "Howdy, I'm Gavin! That is Barron and Pedro!" "Howdy, I'm Mayella and this is Kyle!" "So your here to see some horses correct?" "Yes sir that's right." "Well right this way pretty lady." Gavin lead the way and the other guys got back to work. Kyle is as just there with Mayella, but Ella was the only one buying a horse. She looked at the stock of untrained horses but asked to move on to the horses with more training. They walked down the rows until she stopped suddenly on a mare. Gavin had kept walking and talking about each horse with Kyle, the guys oblivious to the absence of Ella. She opened the door to the big dun's stall and stepped in. Mayella rubbed down the mare's entire body before coming up to her face. "Hi there cutie! Can you run barrels?" She kissed her soft muzzle and slipped a halter in her. Mayella lead the mare to the cross ties and started grooming her.
"Where's Mayella?" Kyle finally asked. "Oh...I never noticed her leave!" "Neither did I!" They went around frantically until they saw her grooming a horse at the ties. "

"how much is she???" " $3500" " sold! " Mayella buys the mare, and unties her to walk her to the trailer. They  look around and buy some horses and loads them up. By the time they get black, it's pitch dark out side, and everyone went to bed. They unloaded the horses, and went to bed as well.
