The dress shopping was simple, now we're moving on to decorations probably the hardest part.

Jon agreed on Pistachio and Cream decorations which I might puke, those are old people colors.

The only thing I'm really satisfied is with the dress, that's a beauty.

"Holly!" My mom snapped me out of my thoughts. Sending small chills down my body, shaking them off

I got back to choosing the center pieces.

Running my fingers around flower petals, I stopped at the roses.

"So smooth huh?" The owner said,

nodding. I picked up one of the red/white rose bouquets.

I'm in love.

"These, I-I-I want these." Turning around to face the owner and my mom. Both with big smiles on their faces, you know this planning stuff isn't as bad as I thought.

My mom clapped her hands, cheering for me as I signed papers for these roses.

I guess this wedding isn't going to be as ugly, as I thought it would be.

Walking out of the store, we climbed into her car. Still talking about how pretty the roses are going to look on the tables.

"Oh, you're getting married Holly!"

My mom started her car. Marrying, a monster that is.

"I know, but do you ever think all of this might be outdated or?"

I've tried everything to convince my mom not to marry Jon, I just can't imagine a family or even actually being genuinely happy around him.

"Non sense Holly, this is what I've been waiting for my whole life."

Laughing, I looked back at her.

She had a straight face, she can't be serious.

"I was, since you were born."

Oh god, why do I have to be the only girl.

Finally arriving at my house, she waved goodbye as she drove away.

Opening the door, I didn't see Jon anywhere. He must be out with some random chick or his stupid friends.

Plopping myself on the floor, I hoped to drift off to deep sleep.

Too bad we don't have a bed yet, all this house consists of is a thick blanket, a coffee pot, and a radio.

That shows how rich we are.

"So yeah this is my- Holly?" Fuck, it's Jon. I got up off the floor to walk over to Jon who was at the front door with some guy, must be one of his stupid friends.

"Holly this is my best friend Reid, and Reid this is my fiancé Holly."

He refers to me as fiancé, woah.

Awkwardly releasing our hand shake, they kept going on with the tour of our home. Literally we have nothing, so really what is the point.

Coming back to the floor, I heard somebody else come in.

Not another one of his friends, turning over to the front door.

There was a girl, looking around the house. Stepping in slowly.

"Can I help you?" I asked the lady, she looked about my age.

"Do you know where Jon and Reid are?" She cheerfully said, I pointed towards the hall that goes to the kitchen. The lady thanked me, and came in.

"I'm really rude sorry, I'm Hope.

I go to school with Jon." Oh Jon has a lady friend, well won't you look at that.

"Hi, I'm Jon's fiancé, Holly." The smile on her face faded.

"We'll see you later." She waved goodbye and Hope walked into my kitchen. Hope huh?
