I could feel Jon rolling around in our bed, it's 6AM and he still hasn't gone to sleep. It's our last night in this wonderful cabin, oh what a trip it has been. Jon spent about 2 hours humming, and the other 4 hours I'm assuming he spent them on Tumblr.
"Holly!" Jon whispered, I quickly turned my head towards him.
His adorable face was being lit by his phone's screen, he looked extremely happy.
"Look at this!" Jon turned his phone towards me, it was a picture of a baby dressed as Ursula.
I'm not a big fan of kids, but I know Jon is. He adores them.
"Isn't she cuuute." He squealed.
I chuckled and tried going back to sleep, but Jon kept squealing.
"be quiet." I hissed. If he doesn't shut up I won't hesitate to sleep on the couch tonight.
"Holly, we need to talk about something." Jon said seriously, he locked his phone and wrapped his arm around me.
"Save it for the car." I sighed. He kissed my neck, he knows how to drive me crazy.
"Have you ever thought of having kids?" Oh god not this question, every time my mom brings this damn question up I cringe and never answer it. I sat up, and turned on the bedside lamp.
After that horrifying question I don't think I'm getting any sleep at all.
"Well...." I looked down at my lap, twiddling my thumbs.
"I want like 5 kids or more, please." Jon was smiling from ear to ear, I couldn't help but smile back at him.
"Look, I've actually never thought about that." I shrugged, kids haven't actually been something that I've wanted. It's kind of weird but people always want their own carbon copies to dress them up in really cute outfits or give them some awesome names but to be honest that creeps me out.
That 'thing' hangs out in your human pouch for 9 months, then it comes out really yucky.
"So?" Jon raised his eyebrows, I know he's not going to stop bothering me until I give him an answer.
"I really don't want any, like at all."
I confessed. Jon looked horrified, he climbed off the bed and pulled on his hair.
"WHAT!" Jon shouted, crap here he goes on his little rant about how our parents will want grandchildren and how it's been his dream to have his own.
"I've never met one single person that doesn't want kids," he started with his rant.
"Bummer." I yawned.
"Can we at least have one?!" He pleaded, I crossed my arms.
Jon laid back down, staring at the ceiling with disappointment.
"Tell you what," I poked his nose, he slapped it off and turned his back towards me.
"Grumpy pants!" I retorted.
I turned Jon back towards me, giving him a small kiss. He pulled me back down, giving more than I expected.
Releasing the kiss, he evilly smiled at me.
"So is that a yes?" He asked.
"Maybe." I murmured, Jon rolled his eyes and buried himself into the covers.
"Night." I replied turning off the lights.
Oh Jonathan with his kids.
"Wait." Jon broke the silence, he turned on his lamp and sat back up.
"Whaaaaat." I groaned, sitting back up.
He smiled like an idiot as he scrolled downwards on his phone.
"What are we naming it?" he whined, I rolled my eyes. Jon wrapped me in his arms, bringing our foreheads together.
"I want to grow old with you." He whispered. Is this a dream or reality?
"Me too." I smiled, he gave me one last kiss before we fell asleep, wrapped in each other.
