Class went as expected, nobody remembered the mystical  Lila.

Nobody remembered her long black hair and deep green eyes.

No one recognized the thickly accented, melodic voice.

Just like Liam had wanted. Everything was how he had wanted.

Liam had successfully made it to his pre-calculus class without any teachers saying anything about knowing who he was.

That ended in his last class, though.

Mr. Thomas, or Kermit, as many called him, recognized the young boy.

He announced that he was going to call attendance because the bell had rung.

"Jessalyn Andrews"

"Marco Delgado"

Several names passed by until he got to Liam's name.

But it came out as if it was the past.

As if it was the person from 2 years ago.

"Lila Curatolo?"

The young man didn't speak up.

He kept his head down as Kermit  continued calling the name.

Liam had finally had enough.

He slammed his book shut and stood up abruptly.

"It's Liam! My name is Liam, it is NOT Lila," he said in a venomous tone, clenching his fists before walking out of the room with all of his things.

Oh, what a day it had been.
