Chapter 48

"Auntie. Can we talk?" Cheong asked Hannah's mom when she got back. 

"What's is it dear?" Hannah's mom said. Cheong had always talked to Hannah's mom either up close or on the phone. Her father and mother are pretty nice but they have work and can't be with her sometimes. On top of that, she suffered Depression for a while because of bullying. She was easy to pick on (you can see since Sarang makes her do everything) and would do anything just to keep a friendship going, even being their personal slave. 

"Today, I saw something I shouldn't see but for some reason I felt like I should had seen it" she said. 

"What do you mean?" Hannah's mom said. 

"Well, because of it I'm going to look at someone differently, but I learned something from that thing" Cheong said and paused for a bit, "Remember what you said to me on that day".

Flashback: (you miss these right)

"Cheong!" Hannah's mom said and ran to her side. She's been cutting herself for the third time now. Her lips are pale. If it went on any further, she would die. 

"Why are you here? You have Hannah don't you" Cheong said weakly. 

"You're my niece. What do you expect?" Hannah's mom screamed. 

"The hospital.... where's my phone" she said and went to get her phone. Cheong went back to what she was doing and cut herself more. Before it cut her skin, the knife was thrown across the room. Hannah's mom immediately hugged her. 

"Don't die on me now. You can die later when you have a family and is happy with your life" Hannah's mom said

. "Who are you to say that? Don't you hate your life too? You're a single mother!" Cheong exclaimed. 

"I did! I did! I wanted to do the same thing that you're doing right now but I didn't because I wanted to save Hannah's life" she said. 

"Huh?" Cheong said.

 "I got pregnant with her without even knowing her father" 

"What? Do you get raped?" 

"No, I just don't remember him. Like if someone took all of my memories away. One thing that I just seem to remember though is that he had something, something black I think on his back".

Current Time:

"That story you told me about Hannah's dad. I think I know something about him" Cheong said. Hannah's mom turned to her shocked. 

"What I know is that he's not human".
