1 week later august 12
Its finally aaliyas birthday and everything is set.
"Mommy mommy its my birtday"
"Yes it is sweetie"
"Can I have cake"
"Later baby go ask daddy to help you put your bathing suit on."
"Ok"
I finish setting up all the goodie bags and snacks. I head upstairs to change into my wrap and bathing suit. Ethan comes in and changes into his and we head downstairs. It was 2pm and guest should be here any minute.
Right on schedule everyone arrives. We lead them to the backyard and the party begins.
A few minutes into the party aaliya comes running over to me and ethan
"Mommy I'm scarwd"
"What's going on"
"Zach keeps poking me"
Me and ethan look at each other
"He likes you sweetie just play with him"
She looks down with a smile on her face
"Ok mommy"
She goes back over to her friends and her and Zach start playing around
"Aww look at that Ethan liya has her first crush"
"That zach kid is sketchy he chose the red doritos over the blue ones"
"Oh shut up Ethan"
We both break out into laughter. I check my phone and see its 4pm.
"Ok everyone gather on the patio for birthday cake and ice cream"
All the kids yell for joy and run to their parents to get wrapped in towels. Aaliya takes her seat in front of her Minnie mouse cake and we sing happy birthday. She blows her candles out and we cut the cake. Zach sits next to her.
"Happy birtday Aaliya"
Aaliya smiles. He kisses her on the cheek and she looks at him. She kisses him on the cheek and they giggle.
Ethan and I just stare at them with smiles on our faces. Everyone finishes up their cake and ice cream and then heads home. Zach mom is the last one to come so him and Aaliya watch a movie in the basement. His mom arrives and I answer the door.
"Hello ms underwall Zach's downstairs with Aaliya. I think they have a little crush on each other"
"Well how about that"
"Come on I'll show you to them"
We walk downstairs and see Zach and Aaliya sleep on each other.
"They are going to be some pair when they grow up" I say
"They sure are" Zach's mom picks Zach up and I pick Aaliya up. They leave and I tuck Aaliya in. I go back downstairs and see Ethan cleaning up.
"Well she had a successful birthday don't you think"
"Yup but I am tired imma head to bed"
"Ok I'll be up I'm a minute"
I check on the twins and aaliya then head to bed with ethan.
"Our wedding is coming up soon babe"
"I know I cannot wait to call you ms.Dolan legally"
"I got my dress and the bridesmaid."
"I cannot wait to see you in it."
"When are you getting your tux."
"Soon"
"Good night babe"
"Good night princess"
