We walked outside to the car I wiped my forehead. I shouldn't have worn long sleeves and a black jacket. I was about to get into the van when I heard. "Hey Lyra did you get a fancy and confusing letter like us??" I heard Erica say as she ran over to our van. "Yeah why?... wait did you get one too?" "Yeah I did. I replied. "I got a letter from Harlington prep did you?" "Yeah I did. Yay! we're going to the same prep school this year!" Erica squeals. "Hey wait for me i'm going there too. I heard the soft whisper of Rina's voice behind me. Wow, That's great! I though to myself. We all get to go to the same school. But what about- "Hey you guys got room for one more? I'm going too." Max's voice interupts my thoughts. "Okay okay!" My mother says. "Enough with the chit chat. All of you can come with us just stop talking for a bit 'cause you just gave me a splitting headache. She opens the doors of the van and gestures for us to get in. We climb in and grin at each other.
