"You know that I can still talk to you even if you ignore my texts, right?" Jeno said, putting his phone away discreetly.

I lightly choked before my eyes wandered to Misuk, who sat rows away from me. It was Yongung who told teacher that I would be really noisy if I had sat next to Misuk, which was why she was that far away from me.

"Minji?" Jeno called my attention once again.

I searched my pencil for small pieces of paper I would often keep, just because I didn't have the heart to throw it away. It wasn't put to good use yet, that was why.

I grabbed my pen and began scribbling words onto it:

Can't. Talk. Jeno. Stop forcing it on me.

I passed it over to him before I rested my head in between my arms and pretended I was sleeping. The teacher wouldn't mind. I was done with my homework so I was free to do anything I want at the moment.

I felt a light tap in return and when I lifted my head to see what was going on, I found Jeno passing the paper back with his cute eye smile.

I took the paper back, feeling my heart slowly starting to explode and read the paper:

One day, right? :)

These days, I couldn't help it. I wanted to talk to him, but every time I looked at him, all the words I could say to him instantly disappear. Then I'm left with nothing but a blank mind and eyes that only stared at him.

Why did he have such an effect on me?

I always thought I was crazy—for falling in love with someone I didn't know fully. Especially back then when I still didn't know him at all. It was just an attraction that turned into this crazy crush and I just didn't know what else I could do.

But, like what Misuk had told me, it'd be better to embrace it rather than forcing it to stop. After all, he's a pretty decent guy.
