Why can't parents just accept who you are? Like who cares who you are as long as you are happy?
Your clothing style is goth/emo/punk/ etc.? Good!
You like a certain type of music? Nice!
You have a different sexuality than what they accept? Go for it!
You don't like to do an activity or sport? Cool dude!
Why can't parents understand that times change along with people and society? It's always changing and it will never stay consistent.
It makes me so mad that parents try to make their kids something they're not it sucks so much I swear
