I lift my head up to see TJ. He squats next to me and doesn't say a word.
"Why does everything bad always happen when I'm finally happy".
I put my head back into my hands.
TJ pulls my hands away and lifts my head to look at him. He softly rubs my chin.
"CJ always remember this one thing I'm about to tell you ok".
I nod.
"What"?
TJ looks at me with a smile showing his white teeth.
"I want you to always remember that whatever happens in your life you will always have me in it. To laugh with you, to cry with you, to be with you forever. No one will ever bring you grief while I'm around ok. I will make sure that you always be happy".
I laugh. "You always know how to make me feel better".
He smiles at me then gives me a hug.
I felt so much better when he was around. He always knew what to say to make me laugh and be happy.
I pulled out if he hug and pulled his face close to mine. I put my face right in front of his cheek and kissed it.
We both froze. Just looking at each other. Then TJ started to become more red in the face and so did I. He smiles at me and I smiled at him. That was the most perfect moment in my whole life and I never ever wanted it to end.
He stood up and offered his hand to help me get up. I happily slid my hand into his where our finger entwined with one another. It felt great.
"Lets get to class" he said with a big smile on his face.
"Y-yeah" I said while blushing.
We both smiled at each other then slowly walked to class without letting go of each other's hand.
