~Chapter 12~

~Jack Pov~

3 period had just ended and I was heading to lunch, I would meet Ken, Mark and Felix at lunch normally as we would go to 4th period together, I turned around the corner and made my way to the lunch hall, but when I turned the corner I felt like someone was watching me... I turned around no one was there, I turned back around and the two boy from earlier where standing in front on me, it scared me and I jumped back making me almost trip over my laces, one spoke,
'Remember we gotta-' he punched his fist into his open hands and his knuckle crack, '-talk!' He finished, I backed away slowly but as I turned to run one grabbed my hoodie and pulled me towards them, I fell on my lower back, then they ripped my beanie off my head and grabbed my hair and pulled me to the lockers, one opened the locker and the other beat me up.
I tried kicking and punching them but it did no use, my nose was bleeding, I felt bruises on my chest and up my back, when I touched my eye it felt like someone squeezed a lemon in it, after they threw me to the ground and started yelling things at me like,
'Leprechaun! Go find you pot o' gold!!'
'Go eat your fucking spuds and potatoes bitch!'
After they'd finished they threw me into a locked and locked it, I sat screaming, punching the inside hoping it would break the lock, I was hopeless... Lunch finished in 1 hour so I just continued to bang on the locker until lunch finished.

The bell rang, I was so relived lunch was over... It felt like years locked up in that locker, through the three gaps in the locker I saw Mark and Felix walk past talking about me, before they were completely out of view a girl opened the locker and I fell forward onto my face, she knelt down and helped me sit up, I didn't realise that I was crying until she asked me why I was... I looked down at my hands which were red with blood as I had been banging in the locker, everyone was staring at me until two boys ran up to me, I held my hands over my head and face hoping they wouldn't hurt me again until a reassuring hand met with my shoulder, I looked up and it was Mark and Felix, Felix hugged me to tight I though my head would explode, Mark helped me up,
'Oh my god, Jack... What happened?' Mark asked, Felix kissed me cheek and said to Mark,
'Let's take him to the nurses office!' Mark followed Felix as he put his arm around my waist, the girl from earlier followed as well, I must have scared her from falling out of the locker...

We got to the nurses office and she looked at me and told me to sit in the bed, as put ice over my eye and that reduced the swelling, she cleaned up my hands and washed them, the girl from earlier sat beside be and put a folded up note in my pocket and left to go to next class, after she had done the nurse said to Mark and Felix,
'I would recommend him having the rest of the day off, if you two could take care of him that would be great!' She gleamed... Felix offered to drive to his place but Mark though going to mine would be better, so we did, as we go in the car I unfolded the note and read I read in my head...
'Hey, I hope you get well soon, you kinda startled me startled me falling out me locker, maybe when you feel up to it we could go get a bit to eat together!! Here's my number when you feel up to it, 0763738472 By the way, I'm Signe!'
She seemed like a nice person, I would definitely go out with her some time, not as a date but as friends! We pulled up in my drive way and Felix parked the car and looked back at me.
