Imagine being inside of a high school’s gymnasium with a cheerleading squad that you’re on. The captain of the squad is at home and sick, so because you’re co-captain makes you in charge of everything for the homecoming game that’s tomorrow.
“If we’re not perfect out there on the field tomorrow we’re going to make our team look bad. And if our team looks bad, then we’re gonna be the laughing stock of the whole campus!“
You shout over the music while observing the cheerleaders on the squad trying to get the dance moves down-packed.
You pace to the front and dance in unison with the rest of the cheerleaders to the music. Thereafter, a dribbling sound of a basketball coming into the gymnasium and everyone rotates to the entrance to see it’s players from the basketball team going to sit on the bleachers. Ugh. Why are they here? You scoff and stare across the gymnasium at the players with a look of disgust. You turn off the music and head to the bleachers to confront the guys for the sudden disruption.
“Um, hello! Aren’t ya’ll supposed to be somewhere practicing for tomorrow’s game?”
You place a hand on either sides of your hips.
“Yeah but our coach is running late.”
replies your twin brother, Michael, reclining to another set of tiers to prop up on his elbows.
“So we came here to watch ya’ll dance, I-I mean practice ya’ little cheer.”
Christopher stammers and winks at you when your brother isn’t looking.
“We’ll since ya’ll are here mine as well help us practice our routine,”
a cheerleader exclaims and claps her hands together.
But of course the all the players disagree in unison, except your twin brother really doesn’t have a choice nor does Christopher because he knows dance.
“[Y/N] hold on, we ain’t come here to be no male cheerleaders.”
“Please Chris, we need you,”
one of the girls intertwines her hands and begs.
“OK but only for a sec.”
Christopher states as he’s being dragged to the center of the gymnasium and the guys over on the bench points, shakes their heads and laughs.
But he doesn’t care because who wouldn’t love to have a crowd of sexy women surrounding him. He chews on the inside of his lips as he watches you instruct an arabesque.
“Ready?”
You grin.
“Yeah, yeah I got it.”
He says and by the way he nods you could tell he wasn’t really focused. He lowers himself to the hardwood floor to grasp your calves and lifts your body in the air, as does your twin with another cheerleader.
“Oh my god, please don’t drop me.”
You squeal.
“Girl hush, I got you,”
he says with your calves pressed to his chest and he elevates your body higher.
“You better.”
You stare down at him and balance yourself by holding a hand over the top of his head. Next, you toss your fists in the air and begins to cheer, while staring at the cheerleaders that’s over by the bleachers and conversing with NBA players. You’re about to kick a leg in a ninety degree angle when he becomes unsturdy and his hands gets a little shaky. You scream as he collapses to the floor taking you down with him and he breaks your fall because of the way you’ve landed so perfectly on his lap. He grunts because of how hard you plopped down on him, he sits up and places each of his legs at your side, then encloses his arms tight around your waist.
“Aye you alright, [Y/N]?”
Your brother asks but you’re rambling so much you didn’t even hear him.
“I thought you said you weren’t gonna drop me,”
you pout and elbow Chris in the chest with your hurt elbow.
“Ow.”
“My bad, [Y/N] I was tryna’-”
“No.”
You whine and he nuzzles his face into your neck and this makes you giggle.
“I said I was sorry don’t be like that.”
“No.”
You whine, tilt your head to the opposite side and lie back on his shoulder.
“Lemme make this up, [Y/N-N] and take you out after tomorrow’s homecoming game?”
“I think I’d like that.”
You speak with a grin and move your chin upward. Ready to press your painted and puckered lips onto his plump lips when your twin brother falls purposeful on your lap and ruins the moment.
“So where is it that you’re taking us after homecoming?”
