One day I'll be on this Earth
without the two people who raised me
The people I love the most
There was a scare
mum had cancer
I was 12
Could you imagine?
I certainly couldn't
I thought parents lived forever
What would I do without mum and dad?
Who knows
but right now
I'm not ready
and I don't think I'll ever be
