I munched quietly on my strawberries, while waiting for my friend to come back. After a few minutes I could finally see Kai making his way towards the table.
Guess what, they're selling nachos today! I nod uninterested. Yeah that's nice. Kai rolled his eyes before starting to eat; we ate in silence for a while until I see someone from the corner of my eyes.
Jongdae was writing in his notebook... as always, but today he looked different. His hair was curled, and he had a new twist to his choice of clothes.
I didn't realise I was staring for so long until Kai decided to throw his napkins at me. Yah- what are you staring at?
Nothing. I said while shrugging. Kai raised an eyebrow before following my gaze. Oh... it's that mute boy, Kai said boredly.
I scrunched my nose in annoyance. Yeah, why do you sound so disgusted? Kai shook his head. I'm not. I just think he's weird and odd.
I scoffed before getting up. So? I think he's cool. I said irritation hinted in my tone, I made my way towards where he sat, ignoring Kai's calls.
Hey. I said as I took a seat next to Jongdae, Jongdae was startled to see me. He nod back before scooting away slightly, do you mind if I sit here?
Jongdae kept his head down as he shook his head, I smiled before continuing to eat my strawberries. We were a bit awkward, but that's ok.
Then all of a sudden I see him past his notebook to me. I glanced at the open page,
Aren't you embarrassed to be sitting with me :(
I glanced at Jongdae to see him staring sadly at me. No. Why should I? Jongdae sighed before writing something in his notebook again.
You're really nice you know ?
I smiled at his response. He turned pink slightly before looking away; at that moment the the suns light shined trough the window, causing it to illuminate against Jongdaes hair.
I stared in awe as his face brightened, unknowingly I reached out to touch his hair.
I like your hair today... I mumbled softly. Jongdae turned red before softly pushing my hand away. I felt my cheeks warm up as I unconsciously start to bite my lips-it's a habit I do when I'm flustered-
He quickly wrote something down before letting me see.

My eyes widened at his statement. I buried my face in my arms from embarrassment.
Stop please... I mumbled shyly.
Jongdae smiled before writing something else.
