All night I couldn't get any sleep. All I thought about was the almost kiss me and Nick had. Also as happy as I am I really wanted to strangle my sister for coming at the wrong time.
That night I had a dream about the kiss and how flowers fell everywhere. I know that dream isn't going to come true but hey no one stopped me from dreaming.
I woke up with a smile on my face and was so happy that Jaeden is actually scared. I'm not a morning person but that almost kiss has given me hope. Maybe he finally wants me.
"Ms.Lester would you please like to share with the class how you found x."
My cheeks burned in embarrassment and the whole class look straight at me.
"Maybe you should stop flying on the cloud 9 and get back to grade 11 math," Mrs. Horry said in disappointment.
"Megan you should really stop think about your almost kiss with the great Nick," Muna giggled.
You see Muna is the only one who knows about my 8 year crush because she saw my notebook of Nick and how lovesick I was that I made a pathetic diary about him. Other than her no else really knows.
"Shut up Muna!"
Lunch.
"Hey Megs can I talk to you," Nick said as his reassuring smile didn't quite reach his eyes. Something was off. I could sense it.
"Okay," I reply getting up.
"Have a nice time guys," Muna says slyly. She winks at me.
"Nick why have you brought me to the library," I say curiously.
"Okay look...uhm I'm sorry what happened in your house yesterday. It was a mistake." He chuckles nervously.
"What," I reply in shock trying not to burst in tears.
"Megan I actually don't like you like that and I'm sorry that we almost kissed. I've been liking Jackie since freshman year. But Andrew got her before I could even make a move.."
Before he could finish I ran out of the library, towards the school doors.
