in the first place?
maybe it was because
i was the only one
who listened to your jokes
and laughed.
i was the one
who talked to you about her
when no one else did.
i was the one
who tried to fix your friendship
with her.
maybe it was how
we would have these
little stare sessions
together.
maybe that's why i fell
and now thats why i'll break
because i was there for you
but you won't be there for me.
