ever since i was little i knew i was different.

i wasn't your typical girl.

i didn't like the cute boys at school;

they were all taken by the girls:

who were actually pretty.

who actually had thick, long hair.

who had pale, dewey skin.

whose teeth weren't crooked.

whose smiles you could look at all day long.

who weren't as tall as the boys in the class.

and that's where i spotted a difference.

i was the difference.
