Eunice was sent to the hospital for psychological examination.
If they detect something wrong, she’ll be given a free pass, but if they don’t she’ll be sentenced.
My family and I prayed really hard for her.
After the examination, the results were given to the judge.
Her Trial is today and we’re hopeful for her to be set free.
I went there we my parents to witness everything.
The judge stood up and everyone waited patiently for him to speak up.
“I hereby declare you innocent”
We all got up and jubilated.

Eunice ran to me and embraced me.
“Thank you”, she said.
“What did I do? You spoilt my plans”.

“Yeah, you told me to choose black or white😏. I chose white😌. You were still going to be gray because of me, couldn’t let that happen”.
“Thanks, what I was going to do was totally wrong”.

“Yeah”.
Eugene and Eunice’s friends approached us and she hugged Eugene. And her parents hugged her.
“Aria thank you so much for everything. You’ve been a huge blessing to us”😊
“Aww you’re welcome, but God deserves all the glory”.

“Yeah, we’ll throw a thanksgiving party. We hope we’ll see you and your family there”.
“Yeah, why not?”

“Great”, they said leaving and walking toward my parents.
“Don’t forget to call me when you’re going for prayer sessions, church and meetings”, Eunice said.
“Alright, no problem”, I said.
Eunice left and now it was left with just Eugene and I.
It was really awkward. I’ve not spoken to him ever since he laid his hands on me.
“Aria, I’m really sorry, I……”
“Don’t. I understand, anyone in your position will do the same”.
“No Aria, I was being a di….. uhm douche bag and I’m really sorry”.
“It’s fine. Really. I forgave you the moment you did it”.
“Okay, so are we cool?”

“Yeah. As friends”.

“Mmm, alright😞. Is the invitation to your church and prayer session still open?”
“Yeah”, I said smiling.

“Alright, when you’re going, call me”.😊
“I will”.

“Can I get a hug?”

I smiled and hugged him.
And we both walked out.

Today I planned on spending my weekend with Helena. I have to apologise to her and catch up on what’s been going on in her life.
I got to her room and she welcomed me with open arms.
“Helena I’m really sorry for……”.

“Don’t. I should be the one apologising. If I had made myself more receptive and not to judgy and nosy, you would have consulted me every time”.
“Mmm, you were not nosy”.
“Stop lying”.

“Okay, you were. But that’s what you’re supposed to do as my friend. I was the one attacking you every time. I’m really sorry”.

“It’s cool. So when will you move back to campus”.
“My dad said when I’m in my final level”.

“Aww, that’s bad”.
“Yeah, but I deserve it”.
“So what’s up with you and Eugene?”
I rolled my eyes at her.

“We are friends now and he’s going to join our church and also come for prayer session. Eunice will also be joining”.
“Wow, that’s cool. You strayed away and back with two more souls. Powerful”.
“Yeah”.

“But are you sure that you can be just friends with Eugene?”
“I don’t know. I’m not yet over him, but by hanging out with other people more often and talking to him less. I know I’ll be over him soon”.
“Cool, if you two are meant to be together, it will work out when you’re ready”.

“Yeah”.
We talked for a while and I left.
I went to the church and thanked God for everything and asked him to create in me a clean heart for a fresh start.
So you see, there is no gray. You gotta be white or black.
