ADELINE GRAY HAD RESIDED in the small town of Forks, Washington as long as to register that nothing ever happened, following her move from England. Her memories had always contained vivid images of the constant clouds that immersed the residents in chilled rain and the lively green woods that surrounded the town.
Forks, Washington was normal — well, almost.
Although slight imperfections were never a part of those memories, unexplainable occurrences would happen. Occasionally, individuals would suddenly go missing and large animal prints could be found on the ground of the desolate woods.
Adeline Gray had never been exposed to the other side of Forks, but everything changed once an empty seat next to her was taken by Jasper Hale.
