Chapter 1: Normal Day Turns for the Worst

Renesmee's P.O.V.

Hello! My name is Renesmee and I am 18 years old. Right now Im getting ready for another day of high school. It is the usual every morning rutine. Get up, shower, brush teeth, eat breakfast and go to school. After I was woken up by my alarm clock that sung EXOs Lotto, I got up from my comfy black and purple bed, and went to my attached bathroom to shower. I shed off my pjs and went into the shower. Using my lemon scented scrub and my orange shampoo and conditioner, I was cleaned from body smell. Turning off the water and walking out of the shower into the cold air, I went to my room and got dressed for the day. On my bed was a thin red and black plaid dress and black flats on the floor. I changed into that outfit and went to my mirror and put on black eyeliner and red lipstick. After putting my long black hair into a braid that went to the right, I then put my black choker with a golden crown and my grandmothers gold ring with a ruby and black onyx surrounding it.

"Rene! Come down here, we need to talk to you for a moment!" my mom called up the stairs.

I finished putting my hanging heart earrings in my ear and replied, "Yes mom!" I grabbed my backpack and went down the stairs. After I petted my dog, Scar's head, I went down the hallway then turned right into the kitchen. Mom was by the stove with chocolate pancake mix in a pan and Dad was sitting at the table drinking his coffee.

"Morning mom! Morning dad!" I greeted them as I put my backpack by my seat and walked towards mom. I kissed her cheek and saw a plate of warm pancakes next to the stove. "Thanks mom!" I took that plate, got out a fork, and sat at the table with my dad.

My mom smiled at me and flipped the dough that was in the pan, and then looked at me with a serious expression. "By the way sweetie, after school, your father and I have to talk to you about something." I gave a confused expression to dad and then looked at my mom with an eyebrow raised.

"Your mom is right. And dont worry, youre not in trouble or anything. We just need to talk to you about something that is important now that you are a young woman,"  my dad said while putting his coffee cup down. I nodded my head to my dad and began to eat my breakfast. Half way through I noticed what time it was, and I only had 15 minutes to get to school before its actually time to get there for homeroom. I shot up out of my chair, grabbed my lunch and ran out the door.

"Bye mom and dad! Dont wanna be late on the first day! Love you!" I yelled as I got into my black santa fe. I started the car and I saw my mom and dad standing by the door with small smiles on their faces. For what reason, I guess Ill find out later on.

As I was driving to my school, I had this weird feeling like I was being watched. I couldnt look behind me due to driving so I brushed that feeling off. To get my mind of the weird feeling, I turned on my radio, put in EXO - EXACT and listened to that.

" 'Don't be afraid, love is the way. Shawty, I got it! You can call me monster!' " I sang as I got closer to the school. Just to let you know, I am a very big EXO-L. Have been for almost a year and a half, since Love Me Right era, and going on strong. I finished singing Monster ,  and was parked in the schools parking lot. I turned off the engine, grabbed my backpack, and got out of car. I then locked my car and walked into the school.

For some reason, I still felt like I was being watched again. So this time, I turned around and looked around. I saw no one looking at me. Shaking my head, I walked towards my homeroom and saw some people that I recognize. Once I got into the classroom, I saw my best friend, Jasmine, sitting at a desk. I walked up behind her and tapped her shoulder. She turned around and a huge smile broke out on her face.

"Rene!" she stated while springing up on her feet and gave me a huge hug. "Thank goodness youre in my class! If not, I wouldve died with knowing no one in this class!"
