Chapter 3: The Vampire Kingdom
Renesmees P.O.V.
The two days I gave my real parents went by fast. It was now the day where I return to where I was born, and the day I lose my human side. To be honest, Im scared but excited at the same time. But the good thing is I wont be going alone. If I was going alone, I would be on the floor crying my eyes out.
Right now, Im sitting on the mattress of my old bed and is looking around my now empty room. Everything I owned are now in boxes or bags to take with us. It may be a lot, but at least Taemin could do something that makes the boxes shrink. For right now, he is in his dog form and is laying on my lap while I run my hand through is his soft black and white fur. He raised his head and licked my hand, which caused me to smile and giggle.
"Its ok to be scared. Turning into a vampire will be painful, but Jasmine, Alex and I are going to be there with you the entire time," He sent me through the mind link. I smiled down at him and kissed his fluffy head.
"I know you guys wont leave me. Im also scared that my parents wont like for who I am," I thought in my head. Taemin lifted his head and looked at me like I was crazy.
"What are you talking about? You are their daughter. Of course would like you for who you are. Ever since your mother sent you here along with me, Jaz, and Alex, she couldnt wait to see you as young adult." That statement kind of helped the nerves lessen and my anxiety calm down a little bit.
"Rene! We need to go soon!" I heard Jaz yell up the stairs. I took in a deep breath and picked up Taemin in my arms and closed my now old bedroom door. My heart quickened its pace as I walked down the stairs and saw my parents and the couple by the door. My mom and dad had tears in their eyes but they tried to not show it.
"Have you got everything dear?" my mom asked me while pulling me into a tight hug.
"Yeah mom. Everything is out of my room. Now could you have the home office you've always wanted," I joked as I hugged her and then hugged my dad.
"We are going to miss you sweetie. Try to write to us as much as you can. You can always come and visit us. And take care of Scar for us," my dad stated while hugging me and ruffling my hair.
"I'll try to visit and to write to you guys. And Ill always take care of him. He is my friend and puppy." I let go of my dad and walked towards Alex and Jaz. They gave me a sad smile and motioned me to go with them. I looked at my parents for the last time and waved to them. They waved back and I got into the back of the car with Taemin still in my arms.
Once everybody was in the car, we drove off towards the forest on the south side of the city. Soon enough, we were on the edge of town and the forest was going past us. Alex soon stopped the car once we were in the middle of the forest. Alex and Jaz got out, and I opened my door to get out. Once the door was open, Taemin jumped out and transformed into his human form and looked at me.
"I guess from now on Ill be calling you Princess Renesmee," he joked while he held his hand for you. I giggled at his comment and took his hand and got out of the car. Taemin let go of my hand and walked toward Alex and Jaz. He nodded at Jaz and she began to mutter something. After she finished, a portal appeared and on the other side was a beautiful castle. I looked at it was amazement and fright.
"Ok, Rene. Once you step into the portal and step into the kingdom, you will feel immense pain starting in your core. But you don't need to worry. It will be over in a few minutes once the elixir changes your body and your body would be used to the new power and advancements," Jaz explained while looking at me with a small smile. I slowly turned my head towards Taemin and looked at him with fear in my eyes. He gave me a reassuring smile and motioned me to enter the portal. Closing my eyes and taking a deep breath, I walked into the portal.
Once both my feet were in the new atmosphere. I opened my eyes and saw the castle that is now my new home. I went to smile, but a scream bubbled in my throat as pain went all over my entire body. That scream was let out and my knees buckled under me. I felt two strong arms catch me while I was falling. I tried opening my eyes, and I saw Taemin looking at me with concern and fright in his eyes. Jaz was trying to talk to me but her voice was mumbled. Everything went blurry as black dots decorated my vision, and soon, I was unconscious.
~Time Skip~
My eyes shot open, and I saw that I was in a white room laying on a comfy bed. I looked around and noticed that I could see every little detail of the room. My head was slightly pounding and my body was stiff due to the transformation. When I was looking around, I noticed Taemin was in his dog form and was laying on my legs. My lips curled up at the sight, and I felt two sharp objects poke my bottom lip. Taemin must have noticed that I was awake because he jumped off my legs and transformed into his human form. He shook his head a little and went to my side.
"How are you feeling, Rene?" he asked in a soft but concerned voice.
"Im alright. Just my head is slightly pounding and my body is stiff. How long was I out?" I asked while sitting up with a little trouble due to stiff body.
"You were out for about 2 hours. You're parents know you are here and are waiting for you in the throne room. Jaz is- "
"Im here to help my best friend get all pretty for her parents," Jaz interrupted Taemin and came in with a black and red (pic above) ball gown while she was in a dark purple dress and her hair was in a pretty braid. I raised an eyebrow at my best friend. "C'mon, we need to go you ready for your parents. Now c'mon and get off your butt and lets get going. Taemin, please exit the room."
Taemin looked at me with a raised eyebrow and I just shrugged my shoulders. He got up and walked out of the room, while Jaz laid the dress on a chair. She came to my side and helped me get up since my body was stiff. She lead me to the mirror that was in the room and I finally saw the new me. My once hazel eyes were now blood red, and my skin was paler. I opened my mouth and saw two sharp canine teeth. Jaz put her hand on my shoulder and smiled at me.
"Lets get ready for your parents," she stated. I nodded my head, and she began to prepare me for my first meeting with my parents.
~Time Skip~
Jaz just finished doing my hair and putting my makeup on. My hair was in a fancy bun with some strands out. My eyes were decorated with blended black and gold eyeshadow and my lips were bright red. The dress Jaz brought in fit all my curved and showed everything just right. ( ;) ). I took in a deep breath and looked at Jaz through the mirror that was brought in by some helpers. I refuse to call them slaves or servants.
"Its normal to be nervous, but these are your parents. They have been waiting to meet you ever since they sent to the human realm to be protected from the enemies. They are going to love you," she reassured me. She hugged me behind and gave me a reassuring hug. I smiled at her and returned her hug.
"I think its about time I meet my parents, dont you think?" I asked. She returned the smile and motioned me to follow her. I got up from my seat and walked in the black heels she gave me.
Once we were out of the infirmary, we walked down a few hallways until we got to giant doors. And on the other side of those doors were my real parents. I felt my anxiety increase, but I just took a deep breath and motioned her to open the door. Once the doors were open, I saw my mother and father sitting in their thrones. And I noticed there was a third one, which I assumed was for me. I walked towards my parents and saw that empty suits of armor lined up against both walls. Once I was in front of my parents, I smiled at them and I felt tears begin to build up in my eyes.
"Hi mom and dad."
