Having a twin brother isn't as easy as you think. Especially when they are always annoying you.
"Madilyn, mom said to wake up" Mason yelled while pounding on the door.
"What does she want?"
"I have no idea, just get up! And wake Camden up on your way down!" he yelled.

I groaned and stood up. I walk across the hall to wake my little brother up.

"Camden! Mom wants us, come down stairs!" I yelled.
When I heard footsteps in his room indicating he's awake, I made my downstairs.

"Madilyn, Mason, Camden! Come here! We need to talk!" Mom yelled.

We all made it to the kitchen and sat on the stools that are at the island counter.

"Would you guys be ok if we move?" she asked.
"I'd love to mom. I don't really like anyone here in Alabama. I'm fine with it," I say.

"Mason?" mom asked.
"I'm in," he said.

"Camden?"
"Where to?" He asked.

"I was planning on San Diego. I was offered a job down there," she said.

We all agreed to moving. We needed a change. From losing our dad, we need to make new memories and forget the past.

"We leave in 9 days. Start packing."

"Mom? Can I have your keys? I'm gonna run to the store and buy some boxes to put our stuff in," I said.

She nodded and threw me her keys.

I went to the store and bought 20 large moving boxes. 5 for each of us.

When I got home, I set all but 5 of the boxes down and made my way upstairs.

I put all my clothes and shoes except 4 outfits into one box, then in another, I put random things in another, then sat the others aside.

I take out my phone and look at the time. 12:43

I had nothing better to do, so I went to my 12 year old brothers room.

"Hey Cammy, you up for some Starbucks?" I asked.

"Sure. Just let me grab my money," he said standing up walking to his dresser.

"It's ok, I'll pay."

"You sure?"

"Yes"

"Okay I'll be downstairs in 5," he said before getting some clothes to change.

I walk to my room and grab my purse and pull out my money, then counted it.
$372.

I have been saving quite a bit of money here lately. Not sure what I want to do with it, but I always end up spending some of it every once in a while.

I take $90 out and keep it in my purse, and put the rest in a small box I keep on my dresser.

I slide on my black converse, and grab my phone, the jogged downstairs to see Camden already waiting for me.

"Mom, I'm taking Cam to Starbucks! We'll be back later!" I yelled for her to hear me.

I grabbed the keys and motion for Cam to follow me.

We got into the car, and drove to Starbucks.

"My birthday is in 14 days Mads!" Cam said.
Cam was the only person to call me Mads. Everyone else says maddy.

I smile at my soon to be 13 year old brother and order our drinks.

"What do you want?" I asked him.

"Um, can I have a strawberry smoothie?" He asked.

I nodded and ordered our drinks.

"Can I get a large mocha iced coffee and a medium strawberry smoothie please?" I asked the worker.

I paid for our drinks, and we walked back to the car.

"Feel like going to the mall?" I asked.

Cam nodded his head real quick, which made me giggle.

When we got to the mall, we went to the Nike store.

"What do you want bub? Pick 2 things. They are your early birthday presents. I'll be right back. Since moms brithday is in 4 days, I'm gonna get her something at PINK," I said.

He nodded and continued looking around.

I walked next door to Victoria's Secret PINK and went looking for her a present.

I ended up getting her a pair of maroon slippers and socks to match. I paid for that and went back to my brother.

I walked back into Nike to see he was waiting.
He had a green water bottle and a pair of blue socks.

"That's all you want?" I asked.
He nodded.

I laughed a little at how non-greedy my brother is.
I paid for his stuff and we left.

I looked at the time and saw it was 6:16.

"I have a little bit of money left. Wanna stop and get somethinng to eat?" I asked Camden.

"Yes. Can we go to Chic-fil-a? Then stop at Starbucks again?" Cam asked.

I nodded and drove to Chic-Fil-A. We ordered food for us, mom, and Mason.

Then we drove to Starbucks, ordered 2 more mocha iced coffees for me and mom, and strawberry smoothies for Mason and Cam.

We drove home. When we got there, I called my family down to eat.
They were surprised I bought them food.

"Here mom. Early birthday present," I said handing her the bag.

She looked shocked before taking the bag.
"It's from me and Cam. I hope you like it," I say with a smile.

"Thank you guys so much. I love you," she said.

I went up to my room after. I laid down and instantly fell asleep.
