I woke up the next morning around 10:00.

At 1:00, we have to be at the airport to board the plane.

Since all my things are already packed, all I have to do is grab my carry on bag and do my morning routine.

I brush my teeth and get changed. Then did my hair and makeup.

I slid on my shoes and took my bag to the car.

Just as I was walking out, I remembered something. So I quickly threw my bag into the car and ran back up the stairs to my empty room.

I went to the farthest corner of the room, and lifted up a piece of the wood flooring.

I took out the pictures. The pictures of me and my dad. Next to it was my diary I had as a kid.

I took those down to the car and put them in my bag.

-Time skip-

As we got off the plane, I took my phone out of my pocket.

Missed call from Bailee

I turned it off and walked behind Mom.

"Mom, how are we gonna get to the house?" I asked.

"I called an uber. They should be waiting," she said.

Sure enough, there was a gray car waiting for us.

Mom gave the guy the address, and we drove.

I looked at the time on my phone.
9:21 at night.

After about a 15 minute drive, we pulled into a driveway.

We thanked and paid the driver, and he left.

I walked inside the room and went straight up upstairs. I chose the biggest room upstairs that had a bathroom attached to it.

I sat my bag down, and walked downstairs to see my mom in the master bedroom.

"Mom, when will the moving guys be here?" I asked.

She looked at her watch.
"About 7 minutes actually," she said.

I walk back upstairs to my new room to see Mason in it.

"I already claimed this room," I said.

"Too bad," he said.

"Mason Matthew! Get out!"

"Madilyn Rose! No!"

"So your saying you want the room with maroon walls?" I asked smirking.

He rolled his eyes then left.

A few minutes later, the door bell rang. It was the moving guys.

I showed them what furniture was mine, and where my room was.

Two more cars pulled up. One of them was our car. The guy who was driving it handed me keys. Then he climbed into the other car and drove off.

I went inside to get my purse.

"Going to Starbucks! Anyone want anything?" I asked.

Cammy was the only one to want something. A strawberry smoothie.

When I pulled up to Starbucks, I got out and ordered me and Cammy a drink. I paid for it, and took the drink. As I turned around, someone ran into me and made me spill it all on me.

"I'm so sorry! Let me buy you another one," A boys voice said.

"It's ok, I'm sure it was an accident," I said looking down at my stained shirt.

"What was it that you ordered? I'll buy you another one," he said.

"Actually, I'll pay for all of your drinks," said the older man behind us.

"Thank you sir," I said.

Me and that boy ordered the drinks again, and the man paid.

I went to sit down, and the boy who spilled the drinks sat down too.

"I'm really sorry," he said.

"It's ok. It's my first day here in California actually," I said.

"Oh cool! What's your name?"

"Madilyn Smith. Yours?"

"Tanner Fox"

"Well it's nice to meet you Tanner, I have to head home and give my brother his drink, then I have to unpack. Talk soon?" I asked.

"Sure! Can I get your number?" he said.

I nodded and he handed me his phone. I took it and put my number in it. He did the same with mine.

I stood up and made my way out the door, and drove home.

I gave Camden his drink, and went to my room.
I laid on the bed and fell asleep.
