Chapter 8

I woke up to my phone vibrating.

It was a text from Mom.
"Hey sweetie, Camden fell and got hurt. I'm taking him to the hospital. I asked Tanners Mom, and she said it was ok to stay for the night. Be good. I love you" it read.
I replied with a simple "ok I love you too."

I looked over to see Tanner looking at me. He's still sitting at the desk.

"Everything alright?" He asked.

"Cam fell and did something. My mom is taking him to the hospital. My mom talked to your mom and told me to stay for the night," I said.

"Ok, let me get something for you to wear," he said.

He walked to his closet and pulled out a shirt and sweatpants for me to wear.

He handed them to me, and I walked to the bathroom and changed. I removed my makeup, and put my hair up.

I walk back to his room and grab my purse, and take my contacts out and put them in their container.

"That outfit looks a bit big on you," Tanner told me.

"I know. I find it kinda funny, where am I gonna sleep tonight?" I asked.

"You can sleep on the bed. I'll sleep on the floor or the couch," he said.

"No I'll sleep on the floor, it's your-" I started.

"No, your sleeping on the bed. Your the guest," he said ending the conversation.

I laughed and picked up my phone to check the time.
9:41

"What have you been doing for the last 2 hours?" I aksed Tanner.

"I've been editing my vlog," he said.

"Can we go to Starbucks?" I ask out of no where.

"Yea, let me get a shirt and my keys," he said laughing.

We walk downstairs and get into his car.

When we pulled up, we went in. As soon as Tanner opened the door, two fans ran up to him.

"Hey Tanner! We love you! Is that your girlfriend?" they asked after noticing me.

"Hey I love you too, and no. She's a friend, she'll be in tomorrow's vlog," he said.

"Well can I get a picture with you while you're here?" The 2 boys asked Tanner.

After they got done taking picture.

"What do you want?"Tanner asked me when it was time to order.

"Um, can I try the vanilla iced coffee?" I asked him.

"Of course. Thats usually what I get," he said.

He ordered our drinks. Both larges: I offered to pay, but he refused.

After we got back in the car, I plugged my phone into the aux cord.

"Wanna go for some late night flips?" Tanner asked.

"Flips? Like backflips? On a trampoline?" I asked.

"Yea, we can go to tempest. Do you know how to do flips?" Tanner asked me.

"I can do a front flip. That's about it," I told him.

"Well that gives me new clickbate on tomorrow's vlog," Tanner said smiling.

"And whys that?" I asked.

"I can teach you flips for a video. I can title it 'Teach my girlfriend a backflip?!¿' this is gonna be great," he said laughing.

"I'm not your girlfriend though," I said laughing.

"It's called clickbate, Madilyn," he said looking over at me.

I just shook my head laughing.
