❝i know how much it matters to you, i know that you got daddy issues❞
"Trinidad?" Ethan asked in confusion. "Where the hell is that?"
"I don't even know." Katrina answered with a laugh.
The three were in the basement, talking about what was happening.
"Why are you moving?" Grayson finally spoke.
He had sat in silence the whole time, listening to his brothers questions; taking the information in slowly.
"My dad wants me to." She looked towards him. He wouldn't make eye contact with her, he couldn't.
"It's been almost four years, now he wants to see you." He spoke sarcastically.
"Gray." Ethan warned.
"Why would you even want to see him? He left you. Remember?" Grayson ignored his brother.
Katrina sighed. "I know, but Gray; he actually wants to rekindle our relationship. He was an asshole about the situation but he's still my dad. It was my choice not to see him for so long, not his."
"I think asshole is an understatement." Grayson admitted.
Katrina looked at Ethan and allowed her eyes to water.
"Your making this ten times harder for me." She spoke slowly.
"I-We're not gonna see you for a year and a half. You don't think it's hard for m-us too?" He finally looked at her.
"You didn't seem to have a problem with not seeing me when you moved." She told him.
He clenched his jaw and met eyes with his twin. Ethan nodded his head 'no', the two having a silent conversation.
"Do you really wanna go?" He asked.
"Yeah." She answered with a small smile. "I think it'll be good for us. For me."
Grayson nodded in agreement. "When do you leave?"
"Friday."
Grayson looked down and thought for a minute. "Who's gonna sing on tour now?"
The three laughed, the tension instantly fading away.
"I'm sure we can work something out." Katrina answered.
"We?" Grayson raised an eyebrow.
"I'm moving not dying, we can still keep in touch."
"Well duh." Ethan smiled.
"I love you guys." Katrina's puffy eyes lingered over Grayson before smiling at Ethan.
"We love you too." The twins said in unison.
"I'm not gonna miss that." Katrina cringed before laughing.
"But i will miss your obnoxious laughs." She admitted after they both acknowledged her joke.
"How the hell are you gonna fit all your shit on a plane?" Ethan asked with a laugh.
"I'm gonna have to downgrade. I can only bring the essentials. I'll have to buy everything else."
"Consider it starting over." Grayson told her.
"Is that what you did?" She asked.
"Yeah. Something like that." Grayson stared into her eyes. "I'm really gonna miss you Kat."
"I'm gonna miss you too Gracie." She stood from the floor and engulfed him in a hug.
"You too e-tee-wee-tee." She said in a baby voice.
"Oh my god." Ethan said dramatically while embracing the brunette.
Grayson watched his brother sling Katrina over his shoulder, her screams filling his ears.
He didn't want to admit it, but hearing that Kat was leaving broke his heart. Of course he had feelings for her, she was beautiful. Grayson smiled at the memory of his thirteen year old self arguing with Ethan about calling dibs on their best friend. Ethan knew Kat felt the same way for his brother so he let his crush go and moved on.
Katrina's dad was the first person on the Dolan's shit list. He treated Katrina like shit after her mom divorced him. Grayson wanted more than anything than to sock the jerk in his face, but he didn't. Because of her. Everything he does, everything he feels is because of her.
