❝you are, the only exception❞
Grayson groaned as his phone started ringing. Checking the clock on his bedside table, he saw that it was four twenty-three in the morning. Without hesitation he silenced his phone. Five minutes later, Ethan's phone began to ring.
"Oh my god." Grayson complained.
"Hello?" Ethan groggily answered the phone. "What? W-Wait slow down, what's wrong?"
Grayson's curiosity peaked as his brother sat up and turned on a lamp.
"Who is it?" He asked.
Ethan held his finger up. "He what?"
Ethan clenched his jaw and looked at Grayson before putting the phone on speaker.
"Grayson's here too, he can hear you."
A sniffle was heard before a familiar voice spoke.
"Gray."
"Kat."
As soon as he said her name, she began to cry. "I should've never came."
"What's wrong?"
"N-nothing but, is there a possibility you could fit one more person on the tour."
Grayson looked at his brother and smiled. "Of course. There's always room for you."
"Okay. I'm gonna get a plane ticket and meet you guys in Australia." Shuffling was heard on the other side.
"Why are you whispering?" Grayson asked in confusion.
"It's late here and i don't wanna wake my dad up. I'll text you guys later. Love you." She said quickly before hanging up.
"What just happened?" Grayson asked after a few moments of silence.
"We're getting Kat back, that's what happened." Ethan said before turning the light off and turning away from his twin.
Still confused about the situation, Grayson laid down in thought. Katrina hadn't talked to him in almost two weeks. He checked his phone and saw that the call he missed was her. She called him first, no matter what they went through, he was always her escape.
